من نقيس الوزن ب growth chart ويطلع قليل نسأل ع وزن الطفل عند الولادة اذا جان normal او لا Spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) = fasciculation of tongue In Intussecpition ,we can use enema for diagnostic and treatment purposes #سرى

اذا الطفل عمره 3 سنين ع الاقل نكدر نعتبره one source of history واذا عمره 8 سنين نعتبره the main source of history طفل عمره اقل من سنة وعنده pallor مهم نسأل ع feeding لان ممكن يكون IDA Petechiae is visible while purpura is palpable Sudden pallor may be due to hemolysis blood loss 5g of deoxygenated hemoglobin is sufficient to cause cyanosis Cyanosis with polycythemia= dusky skin color Patient present with pallor , we should ask about bleeding manifestation like (Hematemesis,Hematuria, Epistaxis) ,also ask about seziure&fit (think about intracranial hemorrhage) Rigors may be seen in :- malaria, brucella , Acute pyelonephritis Epistaxis is extrinsic coagulation factor deficiency while hemarthrosis is intrinsic coagulation factor deficiency Immunodeficiency should be suspected when we see patient with recurrent otitis media or pneumonia, and when infection is difficult to treat with IV antibiotics for more than 2 weeks In infants ,10-12 times of URTI per year is normal Gout milk = cause folic acid deficiency Vegetarian diet = cause Vit B12 deficiency Exclusive breastfeeding = cause IDA Hematemesis is acidic ,coffee ground vomiting While hemoptysis is alkaline , pink sputum(mixed with O2) If patient had delay in all development, this is called global developmental delay Hemolysis or anemia = only packed RBC transfusion Blood loss (e.g. hypovolemic shock ) = Whole blood transfusion مريض جاي للمستشفى علمود ياخذ chemotherapy نكتب ال C.C. :- scheduled admission for chemotherapy Shivering is milder than rigor #مصطفى
