An experience narrated by a sis recently released from prison: "I was imprisoned for several months without my children. They don't turn on the electricity in the winter, in the summer theres no air conditioning, and rarely do they turn on the lights in the evening. Except the light coming from the corridor that shines through a tiny window. We ate in the dark because fruits, vegetables and meat are forbidden. During Ramadan and for the holidays, the days are worse. They constantly tell us that there is no gas, fuel oil, tea in the morning, because they know that this is what gives us a little energy to get through the day. There are outings in the yard but it is once a week, sometimes a week and a half. It lasts 15 minutes in a small yard. They put lots of pressure to constantly weaken us so that we are miserable. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds who is above their plans. May Allah free all the prisoners." //Letters_frominside

Update Camp Hol "Last night we heard sounds of bombing coming from the outskirts of Hasakah. We don’t know exactly what is happening outside.....but today they closed our market, and the kurds announced that it could be closed for a week." When a test comes to you: 1) know that everything if by the Qadr of Allah. 2) Remember that other people have bigger problems then you. 3) Remember the death of Prophet Muhammad (saw) the greatest calamity the Ummah faced 4) Maybe through this trial Allah saved you from an even bigger trial. 5) Through this trial Allah removed some of your sins. 6) Through this trial Allah has opened up a huge world of ibaadah like sabr, salah repentance and more. 7) With this trial Allah is putting you on the path of the Prophets, it is a confirmation that Allah loves you, the more Allah loves somebody the more he tests you. السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته There are several women and children who undergo kidney stones in this camp. How? Most likely from consuming tap water. A concerned mother requests for your help: "I am a sister in Camp Hol and is in need of sadaqah in order to buy nessesities for my little girl. There are stones in both her kidneys and unfortunetly I am not able to buy simple nessesities in order for her to recover; water, medicine and herbs. Advice to myself: When you feel low in faith. And when it feels like no one is there, turn to Allah because he hears when no one will, answers you when you silently ask, and fills that void with peace when nothing could. //Letters_frominside

Sadaqah doesnt decrease wealth but only brings about benefit: Abu Kabshah Al-Anmari narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said, "There are three things for which I swear and narrate to you about, so remember it." He said: '...The slave of Allahs' wealth shall not be decreased by charity, no slave (of Allah) suffers injustice and is patient with it except that Allah adds to his honor...' Theres an inspiring example in an elderly woman whose attachment and profound love for the Quran was incomparable to anything else. Although she struggled deeply in reading it with fluency, it never discouraged her from reciting; It was her every breath. She was dedicated and keen on memorising the Book of Allah. And by His Grace, was able to complete her memorisation in a very short amount of time. So it goes, the year she attempted to free her self from the camps, the aunty was unfortunatetly caught and taken to the local prison. Despite the test of facing a harsher inprisonment, She was most accepting of the qadr of Allah; making lots of dua and prioritizing one in specific: "Ya Rabb, I can't live without the Quran. Bless me with one or put me in a place where I would be able to read it again." For this sister, being without the quran was the biggest calamity that could have befallen her. It wasnt the fact that she was suddenly confined within four walls or directly under the watch of the kuffar, but her truest fear was that she would be prevented from reading the Book of Allah. Then, on the night of Eid Al Fitr the guards ordered her to get ready. She assumed at first thought it was because she would be transferred but bi fadhlillah, it was her qadr to return to the camps after four days of imprisonment. Alhamdulilah. //letters_frominside
