*Cabinet approves Terms of Reference of 8th Central Pay Commission* The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has approved the *Terms of Reference (ToR)* of the *8th Central Pay Commission.* 🟢 The 8th CPC will be a *temporary body* consisting of: - One Chairperson - One Member (Part Time) - One Member-Secretary 📅 It will submit its recommendations *within 18 months* from the date of constitution and may send *interim reports* if necessary. 🔸While making its recommendations, the Commission will consider: i. Economic conditions and fiscal prudence ii. Availability of resources for development & welfare iii. Unfunded cost of non-contributory pension schemes iv. Likely financial impact on State Governments v. Emoluments & benefits in CPSUs and private sector 📖 *Background:* Central Pay Commissions are set up periodically to review pay, allowances, pensions, and service conditions of Central Government employees. Traditionally, new pay commission benefits are implemented every 10 years. Hence, *the effect of the 8th CPC recommendations is expected from 01.01.2026.* 🗓️ The Government had announced the formation of the 8th CPC in *January 2025* to review salaries and other benefits of Central Government employees.

*GDS Attendance Registration Process* After Branch Post Office details are updated by the *Division Nodal Officer* on the attendance portal, the *concerned GDS* has to visit their Division’s attendance portal. This registration can be done on *any mobile device or desktop.* ✅ *Before Registration* Ensure the following: 1. Branch Office details updated by Division. 2. Valid Aadhaar Number – Name, DOB & Gender must match GDS record. 3. Keep a *recent scanned photo (.jpg, up to 150 KB)* ready to upload. ----------------------------------- 📍 *Step 1: Employee Registration* 1. Visit your *Divisional Attendance Portal* 2. Click on *Employee Registration* (Left side) 3. Enter *Name as per Aadhaar* 4. Enter *Date of Birth (as per Aadhaar)* 5. Enter *Valid Mobile Number* for OTP 6. Click on *Generate OTP* 7. After OTP validation, proceed to Step-2. ----------------------------------- 📍 *Step 2: Attendance Registration by GDS* 1. Enter *Full Name* (auto-filled) 2. Enter *Date of Birth* (DD-MM-YYYY, auto-filled) 3. Select *Gender* (as per Aadhaar) 4. Enter *12-digit Aadhaar Number* 5. Enter *Email ID* 6. Enter *Mobile Number* (auto-filled) 7. Enter *Employee Code / GDS ID* 8. Select *Organization* (auto-filled) 9. Select *Employee Type – Govt* 10. Select *Division/Unit – Branch Office Facility ID* 11. Select *Designation – Branch Post Master* 12. Select *Office Location – Branch Post Office* 13. *Upload Photo* (.jpg, max 150 KB) 14. Enter *Captcha Code* 15. *MICROATM VERSION 1.23.6.1 ROLLOUT ACTIVITY* Respected Sir/Madam, We are initiating the *mass rollout of Microatm version 1.23.6.1 today @ 10 PM.* Kindly advise end users to keep their devices ONLINE for smooth upgradation.. This rollout activity *shall be done in phases (circle wise) and shall be completed by tomorrow EOD..* Kindly note that as conveyed earlier *all the older versions of Microatm shall be disabled today @ 10 PM and end users shall be able to work only on the updated version of Microatm* .. Kindly advise end users to wait for the app update and avoid sending mails to the MDM helpdesk team... We will share *installation status after the activity gets completed i.e. tomorrow @5 PM* 🙏🙏

Dear All, This is to inform you of the following updates with respect to the CELC Mobile Update service: 1. The CELC Mobile Update charges have been revised to ₹75/- per transaction (inclusive of GST), effective 25th October 2025. 2. The revised charges have been incorporated in the new version of the mATM APK, which will be deployed for mass rollout on the night of 24th October 2025. The detailed rollout schedule will be communicated separately by the Distribution Team. 3. Post rollout, transactions through older versions of the mATM application will not be supported. All end users must ensure their devices are updated with the latest APK via MDM. 4. To ensure a smooth transition, all end users are advised to keep their devices online on the evening of 24th October 2025 and update the application as soon as the new version is available. 5. Kindly ensure that this information is shared with DoP counterparts for effective coordination and implementation at the end-user level. Your cooperation in ensuring timely update and communication is appreciated. The above information is already shared in the mail today. 🙏

Dear All, With the release of DREAM APP 1.0.24, we have shifted all CBS/PLI traffic through NGC Channel instead of legacy DARPAN channel. Hence we are going to stop DARPAN channel shortly. Hence kindly get update from all circle SPOCs to confirm whether all BOs are upgraded to DREAM version 1.0.24. If any BO is not upgraded requested to take up with local IPPB SPOC and get the version upgraded. DARPAN channel will be stopped from 26.10.2025.
