Earlier, when I was learning about CRDTs, I watched this video CRDTs for Mortals James Long - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DEcwa68f-jY The video is from 2019. The video does not explain how they work, but rather how he used them to solve a real problem, a local first budgeting app. It's a short, fascinating talk. Last night, I found that James didn't pursue his idea and made everything open source last year.
