This is my proud moment not as an IELTS instructor but as General English teacher. (though I'm no longer one) Around a year and half ago those students came to study literally "present simple" and now they can fully express themselves in completely new language. Magic of consistency :) πŸ₯ΉπŸ₯Ή

Hilola's feedback 😍 I say many thanks to Miss Khurshida for all the advice and strategies she's given during our lessons, especially on Listening and Reading sections. Although I continued as a self-studier later on (to make sure I'd get a desired score), it was Miss Khurshida herself who's set the basis. Reflexion on Exam Overall, I think, my main exam was a very lucky one. 🎧In listening, both part 2 and 3 were multiple choices and it was a blessing, honestly, because multiple choice is my favourite question type and I always easily deal with it. In recent mock tests I've got 8.5-9.0 in a row. The secret of it is very simple β€” dictation. Just take a podcats/video you like and write everything said. πŸ“– Actually, I didn't expect 9 from reading, cause it never was in mocks:) but I've got a couple of tricks that I realised on the exam. First of all, revise all the passages. Forget about a rule "first passage is the easiest", "third is the hardest". It's a very personal thing, and for me, passage 2 was the most difficult due to the question types in there. Logically, I've started with it. Secondly, circle the answers that you're doubting while doing a passage and return to them only after you've completed all 3. Looking to them after a while makes it easier to find correct answers. Finally, copy answers to an answershit after completing each passage (but with the doubtful answers left). The thing is, while doing it, your brain takes a little break since you're doing smth automatic that doesn't require a big functioning. It saves your time as well. At least it saved mine, cause when I looked up at a timer after completing everything there were 10 mins left. ✍ I don't really have an advice on Writing, just analize the samples and learn academic vocabulary. And also, read a lot. Doesn't really matter what, just read. I know nowadays lots of people say "reading books doesn't affect your IELTS score", but damn, it does, trust me. By the way, I have a special notebook for task 2, I used to divide it to sections for vocab according to topics. For example, "education" "finances" "government + politics", "nature", "internet" and etc. πŸ—£ As you see, Speaking results are not that impressive, and imma blaming the system ))). The thing is, I've chosen video format, thinking it was gonna lower my anxiety level, but it turned out to be the greatest mistake. It had been held on February 21st, and as you remember, that day it'd been snowing as hell. Of course, the amazing Uzbek Internet stopped working right before my exam and eventually, the speaking that was supposed to be at 12:20 was delayed to 15:00πŸ™‚. I was forced to wait for 4 hours straight as we arrived for registration at 11. When the time finally arrived i was not able not to only speak but even move and therefore performed worse that usual. In short, the single suggestion: never ever take a video, or if so, look up the weather on that day.
