Every prophet on Ashura thought it was over for them. It wasn't. On one single day, The seas split open for Prophet Musa (as). فَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنِ ٱضْرِب بِّعَصَاكَ ٱلْبَحْرَ ۖ فَٱنفَلَقَ فَكَانَ كُلُّ فِرْقٍۢ كَٱلطَّوْدِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ "and We revealed to Moses: ‘Strike the sea with your staff.’ It parted- each side like a mighty mountain-" [Qur'an 26:63] The ark of Prophet Nuh (as) found dry land. وَقِيلَ يَـٰٓأَرْضُ ٱبْلَعِى مَآءَكِ وَيَـٰسَمَآءُ أَقْلِعِى وَغِيضَ ٱلْمَآءُ وَقُضِىَ ٱلْأَمْرُ وَٱسْتَوَتْ عَلَى ٱلْجُودِىِّ ۖ وَقِيلَ بُعْدًۭا لِّلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ Then it was said, ‘Earth, swallow up your water, and sky, hold back,’ and the water subsided, the command was fulfilled. The Ark settled on Mount Judi, and it was said, ‘Gone are those evildoing people!’" [Qur'an 11:44] Two prophets. Two moments where everything could have been lost, and wasn't. This is the day of Ashura, which is known as the 10th of Muharram. A day Allah Almighty chose, across centuries of history, to show what He is capable of. Deliverance. Mercy. Relief. When it seemed like there was no way out, He made it possible. The day of Ashura is a stark reminder of who He is. It's a reminder of who we can turn to. Fast on this day. Give on this day. Ask on this day. Because if there's one thing the day of Ashura teaches us... It's that Allah Almighty always finds a way for you. Even when we can't see it.

To every father reading this, The sacrifices nobody sees. The worry carried quietly. The du'as made in the dead of night. Allah sees it all. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Every one of you is a shepherd, and every one of you is responsible for his flock." [Bukhari & Muslim] A shepherd doesn't just provide. He protects, guides, and stays, even when no one says thank you. Thank you for showing up. The One who placed this responsibility on you is also the One watching over you. "Your Lord has commanded that you worship none but Him, and that you be kind to your parents." [Al-Isra', 17:23] Happy Father's Day. ❤️

Everyone who met the Prophet ﷺ felt like the most important person in the room. He never turned his face away from someone speaking to him until they turned away first. When he shook someone's hand, he never let go first. He waited. (Abu Dawud, Al-Tabarani) One day, Jarir al-Bajali came to a gathering that was already full. No space. He sat quietly at the door. The Prophet ﷺ noticed and took off his own cloak, offering it to him as a place to sit. Jarir couldn't bring himself to sit on it. He pressed the cloak to his face and wept. "May Allah Almighty honour you, as you have honoured me." The Prophet ﷺ then said: "If a nobleman comes to you, honour him." (Al-Askari) In a room full of people, he still saw the one sitting alone at the door. ❤️ How many people in your life feel that way because of you?

"You will never be able to share your wealth with everyone; instead, share your virtue with everyone." (Abu Ya'la, al-Bazzar) Wealth diminishes, but virtue doesn't. Don't stop being kind, generous and merciful towards others. 🧡

Being physically strong is a Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ. 💪 Jabir (ra) narrated: During the digging of the Trench, the companions hit a rock they couldn't move. They went to the Prophet ﷺ. He said: "I will go down." When he stood to strike, they saw it — a stone tied to his stomach. He hadn't eaten in three days. He raised the shovel and struck. The rock shattered into powder. (Al-Bukhari, Ibn Sa'd, al-Bayhaqi and others) He was in the trench; hungry, working, and still hitting harder than anyone. The body is an amanah. To strengthen it and to show up with it is Sunnah. Next time you train, remember the Prophet ﷺ with a stone tied to his stomach, shattering rocks. صلى الله عليه وسلم

"Dajjal is coming out soon, we are doomed." We have never had more information about the End Times and have never been more confused about it. The overwhelming misinformation online can sometimes put us in intense anxiety, but here's what the scholarly tradition actually says, versus what circulates online. ❌ "Every major conflict is a sign the Hour is near." ✅ Scholars distinguish between fitan (trials in every era) and ashrat al-sa'ah (specific signs of the Hour). Conflating the two leads to panic — or desensitisation. ❌ "The major signs are unfolding right now." ✅ Most minor signs have already occurred. But none of the major signs have appeared yet. The Dajjal, the Beast, the sun rising from the west — these will not require a WhatsApp forward to confirm. ❌ "We need to act now! Time is running out." ✅ The Prophet ﷺ warned against rash action in anticipation of divine events. Our role is not to force outcomes. It is to remain firm, grounded, and prepared. ❌ "Knowing the signs means knowing when the Hour will come." ✅ The knowledge of the Hour belongs to Allah Almighty alone. "They ask you about the Hour... Say: Knowledge of it rests only with my Lord." [Al-A'raf, 7:187] The signs were never given so we could predict. They were given so we could prepare our hearts.
