Good morning! Today’s lecture lesson at 9am is shifted and will start at 10am.

Arrays.sort with a custom comparator to achieve a selection sort-like behavior does not mean you are implementing the selection sort algorithm. It's more accurate to say that you are using a sorting function provided by the language library, and you're defining a custom comparison to achieve a specific order that resembles the selection sort order. If you want a true selection sort implementation, it's better to write the algorithm explicitly with its traditional logic. Note to my students ~ Betul Polat
