Jackpot.ton is closing its doors. Throughout the project's existence, we observed extremely low player engagement. It seems that the very idea of our project did not interest many people. The entire life of the project directly depended on the involvement of the community. Despite a large advertising campaign on some of the largest TON-dedicated channels, the community did not show any interest in us. We had to artificially create the appearance of a "crowd" by filling the game rounds with bots. (Bots did not have an advantage over real players and only brought losses in the long run) As it turned out, the project has no future. Unfortunately, the TON blockchain, like most other blockchains, is very poor at generating random numbers. Randomize_lt, which we used in all our smart contracts, could be rigged by a validator. Of course, there are other ways to securely generate random numbers, but then the whole process would take a lot of time and the games would no longer be as "fun". We believe that at the moment validators will not manipulate the randomness, but this may (and will) happen in the future. Excluding development and project support costs, our current loss is approximately $130,000. We have not sold any POT tokens from the developer's wallet. To cover at least some of our losses, we could have taken the POT liquidity from the pools on DeDust and StonFi, but we decided to give everyone who hasn't done so yet the opportunity to sell their POT. On July 1st, all of the liquidity we provided in the POT/TON pairs will be removed. The price of the POT token will likely fall to zero. We urge everyone who wants to sell their POT tokens to do so before July 1st, 2024. Best regards
