📣▶️ Canada - Important Announcement 📣▶️
As I believe in the best of my clients, here is some analysis from my side to the state of appointments in Canada:
✔️ The consular sections are likely increasing the overall number of appointment slots available to the public, as indicated by the statement "As U.S. consular sections across Canada increase the number of appointments available to the public."
✔️ While they are notifying some applicants with longer waits about their eligibility for earlier appointments, this doesn't necessarily mean they're exclusively focusing on this group. They may still be opening up additional slots for the general public beyond those who have been waiting for a longer period. But don't know, when.
✔️ The consular sections may be prioritizing applicants with longer waits for earlier appointments as a means to address backlog and reduce wait times for those who have been waiting the longest. However, this doesn't mean they won't continue to open up appointments for the general public.
In summary, while the message indicates efforts to address the needs of applicants who have been waiting for a longer period, it doesn't provide explicit details about whether the consular sections will exclusively focus on this group or continue to open up appointments for the general public. Their future strategy may involve a combination of prioritizing certain groups while also expanding overall appointment availability.
Things look uncertain as of now and all we can do is hope it gets better in the coming weeks and months for the new backlog that is being generated. 😕
Until then, DO NOT BE A VICTIM - SCAM involving false expedited visa appointments ❌
