How to read books and maximise their benefits Hey everyone ❤️ We noticed from the poll a good majority of us are having a hard time finishing books we start. Here are a some tips that can help you not only finish but maximise your reading to get the most of your book (This is in 2 parts so stay tuned for part 2😊) 1. 🤔Why this book? This may sound a bit strange But the truth is.... you aren't just reading aimlessly or to add the book to your " list of books I've ever read this year " for bragging rights or as a status symbol. ✨The aim is to get something, and to become a better person. Make sure you have a clear purpose behind why you are reading the book youve chosen 📍Set a strong why and give a reading objective E.g I'm reading "Atomic habits" Objective: I want to start the good habit of daily bible study and stop the bad habit of online social media scrolling. (This is an end goal) Setting an objective and expectation makes you create an intentional approach to your book, and it doesn't become an unintentional low commitment activity . 📍Answer questions like : What kind of person do I want to become after this book? What do I seek to do with the book information? 2.🎯Set a realistic study goal An objective is our end goal. But the habit of lifelong learning is the means to our end . How do we build our means to get to our end? Building an effective, sustainable process to meet our end goal(gaining knowledge from the book) is the process of habit formation Setting a realistic reading goal is the first step toward this E.g My goal is to finish my book by the end of the month To do this, I will read 5 pages of the book everyday at (time) and _( 'location'). It doesn't have to be everyday like my goal above, but you need to decide on a time, location and a small milestone for the day that is inline with your timelimit. 3📌. Establishing a routine 📌 Now we have chosen our objective and a reading goal, We need to find a way to make this new habit a part of our daily routine. Something to aid this is creating a cue for your reading E.g I'll read my book when my study alarm rings I'll read my book after I do my rollcall by 9pm I'll read my book immediately I brush my teeth What I did was attaching my book reading to something I already do everyday, giving me a cue for my new habit. 4. 📝Take notes Take notes of how to apply what you are reading . This is called being active in your book reading. Take 2-3mins after your study session to write down things that stood out to you and application points 5.🤏 Have a barest minimum Make your reading habit easy but still not too intimidating . This will make the habit sustainable especially on days that it may be hard showing up E.g my barest minimum for my reading will be 1-2pages, (An easy task that will get me closer to my goal when I may not conveniently do my full study) Keep active as you put to these tips to practice while you watch out for a part 2😊😊❤️ Brought to you by Everything Written Causing a book revival in this generation🔥📚

One-thing-you-cant-do-in-heaven-Mark-Cahill.pdf1.55 MB

"One Thing You Can't Do in Heaven" by Mark Cahill is the book for our Spiritual Category this week ❤️ ✨Have you ever struggled with personal evangelism and talking to people about Jesus? Maybe you don't know how to spark that conversation or even the fear to do it. Then this is the perfect book for you ❤️ Key points: ✨Opportunities for Evangelism: Cahill emphasizes the importance of sharing the Gospel with others while on Earth, as there won't be opportunities to do so in heaven. 🌄Eternal Impact: The book encourages readers to consider the eternal impact of their actions and decisions, urging them to prioritize activities that align with God's kingdom. 🔥Boldness and Courage: The boldness the author exudes to reach out to the lost will inspire you to see possibilities in evangelism ❤️Compassion and Love: The very essence of evangelism is love, we see in the book the steps the author took to lovingly reach out to the lost and correct convictions people had concerning evangelism ⏳Urgency of the Gospel: Cahill emphasizes the urgency of spreading the Gospel, reminding readers that time is limited and that every moment presents an opportunity to make an eternal difference. My favourite part🔥: 🫂Personal Testimonies: Mark Cahill talks about his several encounters while evangelising to people and how he was able to make natural conversations with people about the supernatural. Personal POV✨🫶: This is a HUGE personal recommendation from me, A must read for any Christian struggling with evangelism. ☺️Get the free pdf and even more on our channel https://t.me/everythingwritten 🔥Causing a book revival in our generation Everything written📚
