I think most people agree that horror movies tend to be funny and ridiculous, even when they don't intend to be. Well, at least that's how they seem to me. However, Shaun of the Dead is unapologetically a funny, zombie-apocalyptic movie that will make you laugh out loud. Everything about this movie is both funny and charming. The characters, the jokes, the zombies, it's all just so fun and entertaining. The story follows a man named Shaun, who is essentially a loser recently dumped by his girlfriend. His friend, Ed, tries to comfort him, saying, "Oh, it's not the end of the world, mate!" But little did he know that zombies were lurking everywhere around London.

You must've heard of this movie already since it's one of the greatest of all time. Based on a movie of the same name, 12 Angry Men tells a story about learning to listen to others and having a conversation, about stating your facts clearly without letting your emotions get the better of you. It is about the members of a jury who must decide whether the 18-year-old boy convicted of murdering his father is guilty or not. I can't count how many times I've watched this movie. It's so calm yet so chaotic. One thing that always stuns me is the way these 12 people are able to debate with each other so beautifully, so cleanly and classily; even those who get angry and curse out do it with class. If you're a teenager and you have your guard up when it comes to black-and-white movies with no color, just know that you have no idea what you're missing.
