CornPop’s Spaghetti Recipe (The “Don’t Try This at Home” Edition)
Ingredients:
1 packet of microwave pasta (because who has time for boiling water?)
1 bottle of tomato ketchup (because marinara sauce is so passé)
1 pack of menthol cigarettes (don’t worry, they’re not for smoking)
Instructions:
Microwave Pasta Prep:
Tear open the microwave pasta packet with your teeth (like a true warrior).
Place the uncooked pasta directly on the microwave turntable.
Set the microwave timer to “Epic Explosion” mode (approximately 10 minutes).
Cross your fingers and hope for the best.
Ketchup Sauce Magic:
Squeeze the entire bottle of tomato ketchup into a bowl.
Whisper sweet nothings to the ketchup (it appreciates emotional support).
Stir vigorously with a fork (or your fingers, if you’re feeling rebellious).
Taste-test the ketchup sauce. If it’s too tangy, add more ketchup. If it’s too sweet, add more ketchup. You can’t go wrong!
Menthol Smoke Infusion:
Light up a menthol cigarette (outside, please—kitchens are flammable).
Hold the cigarette over the ketchup sauce and let the smoke waft in. This adds a subtle “campfire” flavor.
If you accidentally drop ashes into the sauce, just call it “rustic.”
Plating:
Dump the microwaved pasta onto a plate (or directly onto the kitchen counter—it’s all the same).
Pour the ketchup sauce over the pasta like a Jackson Pollock painting.
Garnish with crushed menthol cigarette butts (for that extra je ne sais quoi).
Serving:
Present your masterpiece to unsuspecting guests with a flourish.
Watch their faces contort in confusion and horror.
