When the polished armor finally cracks, you are left with the raw, uncomfortable truth of what you did. But there is a quiet mercy waiting at the end of that ruin; it is never too late to show remorse, to lay down your pride, and to seek the kind of forgiveness that simply agrees to forget.

It scares me how distant I’ve become. The arrival of the second war, on top of my own personal and mental struggles, fundamentally changed how I operate. I still keep going, but the desire to interact even just texting back has quietly evaporated. The silence has taken over.
