💚 Just got back from GM Vietnam and wow, the energy was electric! 🚀 Met so many amazing teams building the future, and it got me thinking about how projects try to stand out. Sometimes.. they take it way too far. It reminded me of this wild story from the 2018 ICO boom. A German startup, Savedroid, raised $40 million. Then one day, their website was replaced with a South Park meme saying, "Aannnd it's gone." The founders disappeared. Everyone assumed it was a massive rug pull. 🤯 The crypto world went into a panic. News outlets were all over the huge exit scam. But 24 hours later, the founders reappeared and said… it was all a joke. 🤷 They claimed it was a stunt to raise awareness about scams. As you can imagine, the community was NOT amused. Trust was completely broken, and the project faded away. It's a great lesson in how trust is everything in this space.
