UVI – UVX80 (UVI Falcon) The UVX80 is based on the first analog polyphonic synthesizer from a renowned Japanese manufacturer, an 8-voice 61-key 2 + 1 digital control instrument released in 1984 with a gorgeous and futuristic look. Technically comparable to the JX-3P, this synthesizer had a more robust architecture with two additional voices, a sub-oscillator, and real pulse width modulation. Despite its technical advantages and deep sonic capabilities, it will face a similar fate, never achieving great commercial success, but attracting a fan base even today. While this synthesizer is not as difficult to edit as the 3P, this synthesizer shares the lack of explicit controls found on the widely popular but simpler Juno-106 released the same year. installation: copy the R2RUVI file from the R2R folder to C: \ ProgramData \ UVI \ R2R

UVI – UVX-3P (UVI Falcon) The UVX-3P takes inspiration from the classic 6-voice Japanese synthesizer introduced in 1983. With a rather sparse control panel, this synthesizer signaled a shift in the industry towards less sophisticated preset players aimed at bringing the famous Japanese analog sound into the hands of semi-pros and pros. amateurs who often could not afford or were intimidated by more expensive “tightly controlled” models. Often overlooked due to its more conservative appearance, this synthesizer was in no way inferior in technical terms. He offered many of the same components as his more expensive siblings, a great programmer, and even boasted two DCOs, making him sort of a dormant powerhouse. installation: copy the R2RUVI file from the R2R folder to C: \ ProgramData \ UVI \ R2R

UVI – UVS-3200 (UVI Falcon) The UVS-3200 brings you rare and extremely warm sounds from a complex and stunning piece of synthesizer history, the KORG PS-3200, beautifully restored and deeply sampled in all its vintage analog glory. This Japanese beauty, released in very limited numbers in the late 70s, had a semi-modular 48-voice polyphonic engine. Each voice was equipped with two VCOs, each with its own VCF and LFO. The PS-3200 also has a remarkable 16 memory locations (fantastic convenience at the time). Settings can be saved and recalled at any time using the front panel or optional remote control. UVI – USQ-1 v.1.0.1 (UVI Falcon) Released in 1986, the Ensoniq ESQ-1 was one of the first workstation-class keyboards available on the market, combining an 8-voice multitimbral digital / analog hybrid synthesizer and an 8-track sequencer. The ESQ-1 voice architecture allows up to 3 digital oscillators to be configured, assignable to any of 32 waveforms, followed by a 4-pole Curtis 24 dB / oct analog low-pass filter and 15 routable modulation sources. The sound quality of the ESQ-1 is digital, warm and unmistakably 80s at the same time – a true gem of the era, whose sounds still sound with brilliant depth and character. UVI – UltraMini v.1.6.3 (UVI Falcon) First introduced to the public in 1971, this synthesizer continued to be produced with very little modifications for over 10 years. Considered by some to be the most popular synthesizer in history, it has undoubtedly lived a fruitful life, leaving a huge mark on its way; changing perceptions and influencing synthesizer design to this day. With a striking balance of simplicity and sonic range, it was one of the first truly beginner-friendly systems, a factor that undoubtedly contributed to its success and also made it an excellent tool for teaching the basics of subtractive synthesis. UVI – U1250 v.1.2.4 (UVI Falcon) For the U1250, we chose to use both the K250 and K1000, programming a wide variety of sounds including acoustic and electric pianos, bells, hammers, drums, percussion, guitar, bass, pads, brass, brass and other orchestral instruments. The sounds in the U1250 evoke a nostalgic vintage feel thanks to the early digital sampling character of these instruments. The hardware has been tediously multisampled to create authentic gameplay and dynamic sound that feels and acts like real. UVI – The Beast v.1.6.2 (UVI Falcon) NSPIRED BY THE TOP OF 70’S TECHNOLOGY A set of 3 instruments provides the stunning sounds of the famous workstation of the 70s. Over 290 presets covering vast areas of sound. This revolutionary instrument, which used electronics developed for NASA, was unprecedented for its time. Starting life as a great FM synthesizer, in subsequent expansions it has evolved into a full-fledged workstation. His appearance in a professional studio has inspired many leading avant-garde artists and sound visionaries to unleash his potential, including Frank Zappa, Chick Corea, Michael Jackson, Sting, Kraftwerk, Stevie Wonder and Depeche Mode and others. UVI – Super-7 (UVI Falcon) The Super-7 delivers flawless 80s sound inspired by the MKS-7, an 8-voice rackmount synthesizer that combines the analog architecture of the famous 106 with PCM sounds from 7o7 drum machine. A highly sought after, often imitated and much loved instrument to this day, 106 is widely used by a variety of artists, from pop legends Depeche Mode to the defiant Autechre genre.
