Attempted assassination against present Trump goes wrong A gunman and one rally attendee are dead after a shooting at former President Donald Trump's rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, according to the local district attorney. Another spectator is in serious condition. Trump was injured in the shooting. He dropped to the ground and was swarmed by Secret Service agents after shots rang out while he spoke onstage, and he had blood on his face as he was rushed away. Thought this would happen only in movies

In some areas of the US, a β€œcurfew” is imposed, in which teenagers are not allowed to be outdoors after a particular time at night unless they are accompanied by an adult. What is your opinion about this? There are some areas in the USA, where parents restrict their teenage children to go out after a certain time without a company of a guardian. I believe that it can be very beneficial for adolescents, protecting them in many ways. One major reason why I agree with this curfew is physical safety of teenagers. Because there are more crimes committed at night compared to the rest of the day and adolescent children are more vulnerable than adults when it comes to self-defense, they are more likely get hurt. For instance, according to a report in a local newspaper in my country, this year there have been more cases of crimes - murder, stabbing, mugging, fighting and so on - involving underaged people as victims, more than adults. Thus, parents keeping their children indoors after a certain time would ensure their safety, resulting in a dramatical reduction in the number of teenagers falling victim to these crimes. Another reason for this restriction by parents is that it prevents teenagers from developing harmful habits. When children have more freedom and come home at any time they want, they will become more prone to joining wrong group of people with harmful habits. As a result, teenagers will get encouraged to engage in destructive actions, such as drinking, smoking, gambling and so on. However, being at home at a fixed time set by parents would allow teenagers to become involved in rather constructive activities, like studying, at the same time steering them away from harmful habits. To sum up, giving adolescent people less freedom about when to be outdoors can be very beneficial for them by keeping them safe and leading them away from harmful habits they may develop. Nowadays more and more older people who need employment have to compete with younger people for the same jobs. What problems does this cause? What are the solutions? Due to global financial crises and high inflation rates, there is an increasing number of older people getting employment, resulting in competition with younger people for the same jobs. The essay explores some of the problems associated with/arising/stemming from this trend and offers pertinent/relevant solutions. One major problem coming from older people being in competition with the youngsters in the job market is that this could discourage the latter to stay in the country, leading them to seek employment abroad. This is because their lack of experience compared to their older counterparts reduces their chances of landing a good job. This can have serious long-term implications for the country’s future and prosperity as there will not be enough younger individuals to fill the gaps left by retiring seniors. This problem could be mitigated if the government reduced competition by creating more jobs, thus leaving no incentive for juniors to leave the country. Another issue is that the older workforce may become less productive in the near future despite their extensive experience. The reason for this is that older people, unlike younger generation, are failing to catch up with modern technology in workplaces, which is always changing at a fast pace. This, in turn, makes it difficult for them to be as useful as younger people, who are always keeping pace with recent technological advancements. A viable solution is to create workshops and seminars aimed at keeping older people up to date with evolving technology, which I believe would boost the productivity of seniors. To sum up, competition between younger and older individuals bears/has negative consequences such as pushing the former abroad and reduced productivity among the latter. This issue can be addressed by creating more jobs and helping older people become more adept at using technology. #task2 #shawnwrites @shawn_laoshi

INTRODUCTION AND OVERVIEW The table illustrates the proportion of bicycle users in different age groups in a town in the year 2011. Overall, females exhibited higher figures in all the age categories than their male counterparts. Moreover, children and teenagers showed bigger numbers than adults and the remaining categories. BODY 1 Greater shares are represented by people who were younger than eighteen. Little over half of individuals belonging to 0-9 age groups rode bicycles, with a small disparity in percentages between boys and girls , who stood at 51.4% and 50.3% respectively. This discrepancy, however, was noticeably bigger in the 10-17 age category, where 42.2% of girls engaged in cycling compared to males at 24.6%. BODY2 The remaining categories had much smaller numbers. While females and males from 18-39 age groups showed 17.1% and 9.7% respectively, these figures were 12.3% and 8.0% in the 40-59 age demographic. Additionally, almost a fifth of women over 60 years old rode bicycles, while the figure for males was 13.2%
