Late Lance Naik Om Prakash, 9 Para SF & former 4 Vikas, made the ultimate sacrifice during an encounter with terrorists in the EDI building Standoff, Pampore, in February 2016. He was posthumously awarded the Shaurya Chakra in August 2016.
