﷽ There will be a talk streamed on the channel this coming Sunday 05/01/45 - 23/07/23 at 19:30 (UK time) The talk will be regarding the virtues of fasting in the month of Al-Muharram generally and the days of Tāsū’ā (9th of the month) and ‘Āshūrā (10th) specifically. ﷽ 29/12/44 - 17/07/23 عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ أَفْضَلُ الصِّيَامِ بَعْدَ رَمَضَانَ شَهْرُ اللَّهِ الْمُحَرَّمُ وَأَفْضَلُ الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الْفَرِيضَةِ صَلاَةُ اللَّيْلِ ‏"‏ ‏.(مسلم، ١١٦٣) Abu Harairah (may Allāh be pleased with him) said that Allāh’s Messenger ﷺ said: “The most excellent fast after Ramadan is God's month. al-Muharram, and the most excellent prayer after what is prescribed is prayer during the night”. (Muslim, 1163). —- 🔲 We share this hadīth as a reminder to try and increase in fasting during the upcoming month as it is highly recommend, specifically on the 9th & 10th of it. In shā Allāh we will aim to share some benefits regarding ‘Āshūrā in the coming days. 🔲 What we can also take from this hadīth is that this month (Al-Muharram) is a month of great virtue as Allāh ﷻ has ascribed it to Himself. 🔲 Not to forget that this month is also one of the four sacred months. https://t.me/Gardensofknowledge

Updated: Our brother Anas’ lessons will be on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and not on Thursdays. Lesson resumes this Tuesday (16/12/44 - 04/07/23) in shā Allāh at the time previously stated.

The days of tashrīq are days of eating, drinking and remembering Allāh ﷻ قال الحافظ ابن رجب رحمه الله: فأيام التشريق يجتمع فيها للمؤمنين نعيم أبدانهم بالأكل والشرب، ونعيم قلوبهم بالذكر والشكر، وبذلك تتم النعمة، وكلما أحدثوا شكراً على النعمة كان شكرهم نعمة أخرى، فيحتاج إلى شكر آخر، ولا ينتهي الشكر أبدًا. (لطائف المعارف، ٥٨٨) Al-Hāfidh Ibn Rajab rahimahullāh said: “So the days of tashrīq amass for the believers the bliss of their bodies through eating and drinking, and the bliss of their hearts with remembrance and thanksgiving, and thus the blessing is completed, and whenever they speak of gratitude for the blessing, their gratitude is another blessing, therefore another form of gratitude and thanksgiving is needed, and gratitude never ends.
