3人分别是36岁的Wang Taesan、34岁的Han Joonhee和29岁的Bang Giseong，都是韩国警方追查的网络诈骗嫌犯，主要针对韩国人下手。 韩国警方对3人的指控涉及多种诈骗手法。Wang Taesan专门打电话恐吓受害者，谎称手里握有对方私密视频，如果不转钱就发到网上并发送给亲友，实际上根本没有这些视频。 Han Joonhee经营虚假网络色情服务网站，用根本不存在的女性和见面服务吸引男性付款，受害者转钱后才发现所谓的见面对象并不存在。 Bang Giseong则参与跨国电信诈骗，冒充韩国司法机关人员，制作虚假逮捕令和案件文件，谎称受害者正在接受刑事调查、银行账户涉及犯罪，再一步步施压，要求购买虚拟货币并转入指定电子钱包。3人被抓后，越南方面完成相关移交手续，目前已交由韩国执法部门处理。
