Alhamdulilah I'm a Muslim living in the east coast of the US with active ties to a Muslim country in the global south. There has always been a strategy of remittance with the idea of the long term investment be in the global south. With the money immigrants make from "the west" they've been able to build and buy buildings 'back home' and contribute to that society. That contribution needs some recognition because it's easier for the major corp/governments to reinvest millions/billions when the time comes but the Average Mos have been doing it for decades when the city didn't even have running water. Is that all for naught?

What you wrote here brother, has both right and wrong dimensions. What Hasan RA did was prophecy of Muhammad Pbuh and he praised Hasan for what he is going to do. Huseyin RA standed for justice but made a clear political mistake which actually you condemn Muawiyah RA that is not taking enough feedback from people expecially from Ahlal Hal wal Akd. Husein RA was betrayed by the people who summoned him to raise up against Yezid. They abandoned him and Huseyin RA couldn't see what is coming. On the other hand Muaviyah RA was following a prophecy as well. He was an effective governor and thought that prophecy about his ascension to Khilafah came during Ali RA's khilafah. He made a mistake by being impatient then made another one by appointing Yezid. But he did all of that because he were listening any leader supposed listen, Ahlal Hal Wal Akd were giving these ideas to him. He was taking feedback as it should be but he couldn't be critical enough about it to do something better than what being said to him. However schoolars' opinion of not directly rebelling against the government was proven right during Abbasid revolution. They were so vicious that they exterminated the whole family from the face of the earth except for one young Prince who could escape with his life because he knew how to swim. Then what Abbasid did was to put three different concentration of power Arabs, Persians and Turks at odds with eachother. Before everybody thought Umayyads were nepotistic then everybody started to see eachother that way. Which led to sowing of seeds of real racism not just shuubiyyah. But Allah made a different plan by pointing Middle Asian Turks to power. Why because those guys were alien to both the power dynamics and to growing rift between Muslims ethnicities. Their rule weren't traumatized by the treacherousness of Jews or rebelliousness of Hawarij. They took feedback from people and eased to tensions by pointing anybody to offices who has the skillset. I think you are overly pessimistic about how our people were deprived from their political voice. For example Alandalous was nearly a democracy. Think, that a guy who was dethroned 6 times gets back to power again without being killed. But the voice of the crowds which were being heeded by Andalusian rulers just lead them to their doom. It all gets back to one thing "articulation of the social dynamics and problems to a adept ruler who have the will to solve them" Our scholars did what they can do best to fulfill that role.

I apologise if I seem triggered. In actually I'm not. I'm just saying weither you or I personally don't agree with a particular words use, if it's widely used and understood then why concern yourself with it. You have other options, you understand what someone is meaning when they use that word. So be it. I'm not triggered btw

Thank you for your time. Jazak allah khairan

Sometimes I wonder if that’s the goal. I’m not conspiratorial, but I think everyone can agree raising the marriage age just results in more people having sex outside of marriage. Age 21 is crazy. Most people do not have that level of discipline.

This is a very interesting aspect of this idea. I'm glad you mentioned. The predecessors. Pre who? You see? It's very loaded phrase. We're talking about those who came BEFORE to prove our point about people who the Prophet talks about coming AFTER. Those who made this phrase popular more often than not use it as a way of validating themselves. Language is very important. But anyway. Is that how the Prophet used the word salaf? Or in the Quran for that matter? Something worth thinking about.

The world is big, you will find good spots across the vast space! I moved out the UK because it was getting worse, but there is good and bad everywhere

I am saying Exactly to your own post above...like agreeing with whay you said. "Like "why don't they just leave?'"

If hezbollah actually goes all out then I’m sure more groups will join in

knowing whether OCGFC is essentially owned by Jews or not is not important. We, especially Muslims, need to know how these OCGFC control us and struggle to break free from the OCGFC. By labelling OCGFC as the Jews we will only shoot at the wrong target, especially those of us who are not in direct military conflict with the Israelis

I don’t why I’m sending these things but we don’t have media coverage, they do and we don’t

Aisha was a prodigy. You could say she had knowledge equiavelant to both a law professor and a medical proffessor at the same time.

Salam guys, I would like your opinion on something I have been thinking about for some time. Muslims across the world are in need, and we can see that aid organisations are helping, alleviating pain and doing much good. Across the years, the idea of decentrelisation and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) stuck to me. Since muslims are in need, it would be great to fulfill that need and if possible carry those muslims forward to properity. That's the strategic goal here. We in modern times have organised ourselves in governments and bussinesses to organise the division of labour, to make use of and utilise each other for our greater good. However that has not worked for some muslim countries. So I started wondering.... is there a way to organise and pool our intellectual, physical and informational resources for our benefit while operating under the legal frameworks of our countries? If one looks at charitable or business organisations, it can be seen that they can provide a lot of the functions of a state: Police: private security. Courts: legal aid (in place of court appointes lawyers). Foreign affairs: (hypothetical overseas wellbeing offices). Finance and economy: finance and accounting services. Infrastructure/health/education/industry/trade: multi-stakeholder cooperatives. Certainly not everything, especially matters that are very soverign in nature. However we should strive to acquire and maximise benefits and minimise harm however we can. Hence, I propose an organisation that I call an Umbrella Collective, a parent organisation that through its subordinate organisations, aims to generate income then use that income to provide sustainable and growing benefits to its members. It is my hope that people can join together in such collectives, and through its subordinate bussinesses: - work fairly - provide useful products and services for their members and their communities - generate income for growth, emergencies, long term investments and R&D. And through its subordinate charitable organisations: - fulfill member needs - raise their quality of life Additionally, it is very important to consider potential future corruption and fraud, my personal view on dealing with people is: - preach goodness but account for the worst in people. It would be naive to presume that whatever flaws that caused the need for umbrella collectives would not reach them. Communication methodology A potential way this can be started is via democracy.earth for comms between people on the ground, and between them and overseas muslims willing to offer donations, knowledge and advice. As to financial transfers, the open collective can offer an inspiration for money transparency. Whatever methods selected, more than one per purpose should be used, as redundancy to protect against devious machinations. What do you guys think?

I would count more in the same category as the Amish in that regard: The Hutterites in Canada and the U.S. for example.

To say Al-hasan made a mistake is a bit of an overstretch to say the least and probably outside your paygrade with all due respect. Al-hasans decision was exactly like what one of the brothers mentioned in response to you that it was prophecy. I dont care about polemics so i will keep it short and sweet. The hadith is in Sahih al bukhari Abu Bakrah reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “This grandson of mine is a master. Perhaps Allah will reconcile two groups of Muslims through him.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 2557 Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Bukhari The scholars overwhelmingly see this hadith as the prophecy of the actions of al-hasan when he abdicated the khilafah. Not only that but what alot of people dont know is that many scholars also consider al-hasans reign to be included in the khulafah asrashidoon because he was only khalifah for less than a year 6-7 months and that would mean his reign falls into the 30 years of righteous khilafah which is the hadith of rasoolu Allah salla Allahu alayhi wa sallama. Also to say muaawiyah changed the capital from medina to damascus is also wrong beacuse the administration of the khilafah had already changed from medina to kufa during ali’s reign.

They dont need an excuse, they do whatever they want and all these european leaders just reply all what the USA said. The UN is one of the most oppressive, agressive organizations that live on dis information and lies. Now they help the israelis to destroy the palestinians even more. Boycots, taking out leaders, its all allowed and called liberation. They are the terrorists… if israel didnt have so much support by these countries, palestina would be free. Assalamu’alaikoum wr wb all
