✅ SCMPE Strategy & approach to be Followed for May 23 🎓 By @Divyesh_Vaghela ══════ ♢.✰.♢ ══════ First, Cover theory + your selfmarked questions (ICAI questions) Generally for SCMPE, ICAI does not repeat many questions. However, in the last attempt, they asked 65 marks of the same questions from the Case Study Digest (CSD) as SCMPE subject will not be there in new course so I guess they are utilizing their materials. Therefore, this attempt also ICAI can ask questions from case study digest I know it's not practically possible to cover CSD all questions but what you can do is just cover pure practical & unique theory questions, means first check required part of question, if you can clearly identify its theory question like they asked 5S, BPR etc.. then skip it. Here I'm assuming that you have done theory perfectly. Practical questions also will have theory so apply same if you can clearly identify theory topic then don't read it because you already covered it from your theory preparation but if you find anything new then prepare that. The CSD has some excellent questions which are not in the ICAI module, such as Reverse OEE, JIT Purchasing, EVA + Balance score card combine Question, etc... so it's important to cover it. Case Study Digest Chapter wise bifurcation https://t.me/Divyesh_Vaghela/494 Chapters to prioritize first are 3, 7, 2, 4, and then remaining chapters. CSD has three parts for which you should follow this order: Case Scenarios, Skill Assessment Questions, and Case Studies. After completing the CSD, practice the ICAI SM questions from Modules 1 and 2. If time permits, go through Module 3. Remember to perfect the necessary theory topics first before skipping the questions that are directly identifiable from the required part. If you have followed any other notes, make sure that you have covered the practical questions of Case Study Digest. Based on my observation of last attempt paper i told you this, because many students have not prepared CSD questions, they are unaware of the exact source from where the question paper was asked last time as no one provided the exact source and only said it was from their compiler/question bank. Unfortunately, I will not be able to upload any important questions from the CSD. However, if you follow my recommendations, it will not take much time as you only need to solve some selected questions, also you have to prepare pure theory question from your theory notes, not from questions. Disclaimer: Don't take this otherwise that 100% of the questions will be asked from CSD. The questions can also be newly framed because we cannot predict ICAI. You can download the Theory Important Questions Notes from the below link. - Follow this order of preparation for Theory chapters from ICAI sm (14, 6, 2, 1, 3). - If you have not done Derivatives or Forex earlier, then don't skip it completely. ➡️ SFM Important Practical Questions List along with important Theory notes will be uploaded today on @Divyesh_Vaghela channel. I know I'm a little late, but trust me, I don't want to compromise on quality, so I took some extra time. You may find that in important questions, there are almost two similar questions, but let me tell you the reason why I have included both questions. That question is very important for May 23 and there will be some unique point in one of the questions. So, if I don't include that and the same question is asked with a unique point and if you haven't prepared for it now, then you might get confused in the exam. For Eg, Mutual Fund TYK Q.17 on Dividend, Bonus, and Growth plan The same question can be asked in reverse calculation where the last value is given in the question, and you have to find the initial value. (It was asked in November 20 with a reverse calculation, and many students could not answer it correctly in the exam.) So, that's the reason I have included both questions, the Normal and the Reverse calculation question, in the important questions list so that you can prepare well for it in advance. Important questions notes will also be provided for the Theory chapters like Startup Finance, Securitization, Financial Policy & Corporate Strategy, Security Analysis & Risk mgt. These chapters theory Questions are Very Important as you will find 12-15 marks questions from them. There is no fixed weightage for theory in other chapters; therefore, it's better for you to focus more on the practical part for rest of chapters. The questions have been prepared with a lot of effort and analysis so make sure you share it with everyone so that maximum students can take benefit of it.
