Iβve really struggled with sleep, my mental health: Anxiety n depression started due to the prolonged situation with my teeth and my own negative reactions to the daily pain.
I will be going to therapy and doing exercises and hopefully get a dental treatment that works soon as well. Just gotta be patient.
I will be slower with work
But I will get something done each day.
Some days will be better than others. But I will eventually get better and healthy again and I do my best to get there.

| 17 |  +8Had a lovely holiday with Dex, Jugg and my family β€οΈ despite dental pain.
I now have a passive clear retainers that stops my front teeth hitting each other as hard and preventing more damage.
I was in so much pain and slept so bad at times that I was ready to have the front teeth pulled.
Hopefully the torn periodontal ligament will now calm down π€
and my upper front teeth can be moved forward to safety.
Orthodontics will cost me minimum 2600 euros, the dentist was nice enough to give me a plan of max 500β¬ per month with 60 days time to pay the invoices.

Just wish I was healthy by this point, don't wanna be dragging people's moods down.
Having a torn tooth ligament that just wont heal, with night time bruxism and bite misalignment is one of the most infuriating health issues I've had.
I have broken my leg before and had exposed jawbone from alveolitis but at least those were healing with a schedule and you could get those somewhat fixed at public healthcare.
For some reason braces for adults are only in extreme cases where you need surgery as well. I might have to pay 2000 - 8000 euros for a private dentist, if I need new braces. Most dentist are on summer holidays atm too so it is slow to get into treatment.
At times I just want to have my front teeth pulled off, but I know that would be even more costly to fix.
I am frustrated cos I take such good care of my teeth
yet I am fucked atm just cos when I was a teen the orthodontist who treated me, decided to make my mouth extra small, remove 4 permanent healthy teeth and put my front teeth together too tightly, even tho back then I already said they hit together first when I bite.
We should be making our jaws larger, so they can fit the tongue in properly. Too small mouth makes the tongue either push the front teeth forward or fall back into the throat at night, causing sleep apnea and bruxism.
We should also be eating harder foods as kids and chewing more, to naturally develop the jaw.
The tongue should be rested to the upper palate as well, which I just learned some time ago. Why was none of this ever taught as a kid?
I am tired of complaining, yet it is hard to stop thinking about your teeth when they remind you of their painful existence when you talk, eat and sleep.
