The training covered topics such as online benefits and risks, ethical and critical use of content, digital identity and brand, online communication and collaboration, online privacy and security, and online information literacy. The training focused on Facebook as an example of a popular and widely used social media platform. The participants learned how to create and manage their Facebook accounts and profiles, adjust their privacy and security settings, post, share, and comment on various types of content, use Facebook groups, pages, events, and messenger, use Facebook tools such as insights, analytics, ads, and live Stream, identify and avoid online threats and risks to their privacy, use strong passwords and encryption, use VPNs, proxies, TOR, and other tools to anonymize their online activities, review and delete their online traces, and be aware of their digital footprint. The training was successful and well-received by the participants. They appreciated the opportunity to learn new skills and knowledge that will help them to use social media and digital platforms effectively and responsibly. They also expressed their interest in continuing their learning journey and joining future trainings on this topic.
