Thomas Rempfer @rempfer_thomas If @DoD_USD_PR had listened to COVID and anthrax-era Vets earlier this year, the present malicious compliance regarding @POTUS @realDonaldTrump 's Executive Order and the unnecessary embarrassment to @SecDef @PeteHegseth would not be happening. DoD bureaucrats turned a sincere effort by Pres Trump and SecDef Hegseth to right a wrong into an exercise of fealty for our troops to an institution that previously abandoned them. The DoD wants Vets to lie by signing documents that state they were not coerced to comply with a patently illegal jab mandate. It's a fundamentally dishonest remedy process that further violates our oaths, codes, and values. A similar adulteration of initially sincere correction processes happened in 2018 when DoD's OUSD P&R created anthrax record corrections guidance at the direction of the White House, but obscured and obstructed that directive's intent by not even mentioning anthrax vaccine in the memo . The DoD never even published the memo, provided zero outreach, then only corrected two out of thousands of records, and finally halted all corrections under Biden's DoD. Then too, the DoD never admitted the mandate was illegal, even though the federal courts indisputably declared it so in 2003. The administration should hold DoD officials accountable who bought and sold the patently illegal mandates, as well as those who undermined the will of the President with anthrax vaccine mandate record corrections in 2018. They are likely the same administrative state bullies that promulgated the illegal COVID mandates in 2021 and now are in the process of sabotaging our President and SecDef's attempts to do the right thing for our Vets. The President's and SecDef's words and visions are clearly incongruent with the correction process implementation.
