Strikes on Civilian Infrastructure in Ukraine and Russia: Aug. 23-24, 2026 CIT Volunteer Summary Over the past 24 hours, reports emerged of at least 23 civilians killed and 145 others injured. In the Chernihiv region, 21 people were injured, including three children, as a result of UAV and missile attacks. In the Sumy region, one person was killed and another 12 were injured as a result of UAV attacks and mortar shelling. In the Kharkiv region, five people were killed and another 26 were injured, including two children, as a result of UAV attacks, strike and triggering of a munition. In the Donetsk region, two people were killed and another ten were injured as a result of attacks. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, one person was killed and another four were injured as a result of UAV attacks. In the Kyiv region, three people were killed and another ten were injured, including a child, as a result of ballistic missile strikes. In the Chernihiv region, two people were injured as a result of UAV attacks. In the Sumy region, two people were killed and another nine were injured, including a child, as a result of UAV attacks, detonation of munitions and a mortar shelling. In the Kharkiv region, two people were killed and another 24 were injured, including two children, as a result of UAV attacks, strikes with air-dropped bombs with UMPK guidance kits and a missile attack. Strikes on Civilian Infrastructure in Ukraine and Russia: Aug. 11-12, 2026 CIT Volunteer Summary Over the past 24 hours, reports emerged of at least 16 civilians killed and 115 others injured as a result of strikes. In the Chernihiv region, three people were injured as a result of UAV attacks. In the Sumy region, one person was killed and another two were injured as a result of UAV attacks. In the Kharkiv region, eight people, including a teenager, were injured as a result of UAV and cruise missile attacks, as well as MLRS strike. In the Donetsk region, three people were killed and another 14 were injured as a result of attacks carried out primarily with UAVs. In the Zaporizhzhia region, one person was killed and another seven were injured as a result of UAV attacks. In the Kherson region, five people were killed and another 20 were injured as a result of UAV attacks and air strikes. In the Mykolaiv region, one person was injured as a result of a UAV attack. In the occupied territory of the Donetsk region, 13 people, including a child, were injured as a result of UAV attacks and the triggering of an explosive device. In the occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region, three people were injured as a result of UAV attacks. In occupied Crimea, one person was killed as a result of a UAV attack. In the Kursk region, Russia, one person was killed as a result of a UAV attack. In the Belgorod region, Russia, five people were injured as a result of UAV attacks. In the Krasnodar Krai, Russia, three people, including a child, were killed and another 24 people, including a child, were injured as a result of a UAV attack. Additionally, reports emerged of another six people injured in the Sumy region on Aug. 9, 10 and 11; another four people injured in the Kharkiv region on Aug. 5 and 11; another person killed and another person injured in the Donetsk region on Aug. 5 and 11; another person injured in the Dnipropetrovsk region on Aug. 11; another two people injured in the Kherson region on Aug. 11; and another person injured in the Belgorod region, Russia on Aug.10. Strikes on Civilian Infrastructure in Ukraine and Russia: Aug. 10-11, 2026 CIT Volunteer Summary Over the past 24 hours, reports emerged of at least 13 civilians killed and 98 injured as a result of strikes. In the Kyiv region, one person was wounded in a missile attack. In the Sumy region, two residents were killed and six others were injured in UAV attacks, a mortar strike and an airstrike. In the Kharkiv region, one civilian was killed and 18 others sustained injuries in attacks and explosive device detonations. In the Donetsk region, one person was killed and nine others were wounded in a series of UAV strikes. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, two residents were killed and four others, including one child, were injured in a series of UAV attacks. In the Zaporizhzhia region, six civilians sustained injuries in UAV strikes and airstrikes. In the Kherson region, 13 people were wounded in UAV attacks and an airstrike. In the Sumy region, two people were killed and another 34 were injured, including two minors, as a result of UAV attacks and air strikes. In the Kharkiv region, five people were killed and another nine were injured as a result of UAV attacks and artillery shelling. In the Donetsk region, three people were killed and another nine were injured as a result of UAV attacks and an air strike.
