Gracie Abrams (born September 7, 1999) is an American vocalist-songwriter. She inked a deal with Interscope Records to release two extended plays, Minor (2020) and This Is What It Feels Like (2021). Following her opening act performance on Olivia Rodrigo's Sour Tour, Abrams unveiled her inaugural full-length album, Good Riddance (2023), which achieved moderate success on the Billboard 200 chart. Throughout 2023, she served as the opening act for Taylor Swift on her Eras Tour, and garnered a nomination for Best New Artist at the 66th Grammy Awards. Towards the end of 2023, her collaboration with Noah Kahan titled "Everywhere, Everything" marked her maiden entry on the Billboard Hot 100. Hailing from Los Angeles County, California, Abrams was born and raised in a family deeply rooted in the entertainment industry. Her father, J. J. Abrams, is a renowned film director, while her mother, Katie McGrath, is a film and television producer. Her father's ancestry traces back to Jewish roots, while her mother's heritage lies in Irish Catholic traditions. Abrams has two siblings, an elder brother named Henry and a younger brother named August. Her passion for music blossomed at an early age, and she began honing her songwriting skills when she was just eight years old. She pursued her education at The Archer School for Girls in West Los Angeles. After completing high school in 2018, Abrams embarked on a journey to study international relations at Barnard College in New York. However, she decided to take a hiatus after her freshman year to fully devote herself to her musical aspirations.
