NEWS __Pools__ We've got a new partner! MiningPower has added support for PEPEPOW, the first platform to offer shared nodes. This will allow community members to contribute to a node and earn coins passively, without the need for the 10 million PEPEW, required to run a masternode. https://masternodes.miningpower.eu __Wallet/Exchanges__ Be sure to check out #voting for the Komodo integration and crowdfund; crowdfunding will commence after community approval. Additionally, many users have requested we pursue some CEX listings; please mention your favorite under #project-suggestions. We will compile a list of all the candidates, prepare a community vote, and reach out to the exchange(s) regarding costs soon after. # refers to discord... __Social Media__ It has come to my attention that some individuals are creating their own social media channels—Telegram in particular. I see no reason to prevent this from happening, especially if they are aimed at different languages and regions, however, we urge users and administrators to notify the DAO and we will make accommodations for you. Unofficial channels will be reported for impersonation; anyone who falls victim to scams from unofficial channels, should not expect any support from the PEPEPOW team. __Announcements__ Starting the first week of December 2023, major events and community updates will be compiled into a single weekly announcement to reduce labour, and unnecessary pings. This will prevent community members from missing out on emergency notices. My request is that members reach out to the #DAO for any significant project developments, and we will add it to the weekly newsletter. Greetings! This is a long announcement, please take some time to read through it all. I trust it has been an exciting week for everyone. 🚀 The recent price discovery is a testament to the hard work put in by the team, and we couldn't have done it without the community. Safe to say, the secret is out; we've been moving under the radar for as long as we could. To the newcomers, I encourage you to get involved; no contribution is too small. This is a new chapter for PEPEPOW, and we're just getting started. NEWS 🗣 Wallets - Android Wallet We have been searching tirelessly for a solution to this problem, including the recruitment of developers to fork the old source code. Luck has not been on our side; there is a long and tricky method to recover these wallets. However, it is time for the community to make a commitment and invest in a premium third-party solution. If you're not familiar with the team at Komodo, they are an independent network with an on-chain wallet and DEX support. They have proposed a $3000 fee for wallet integration; this will include mobile and desktop support, allow for native seed phrase recovery, and, as a bonus, we will automatically get listed on their DEX for trading, liquidity, and staking. - Web wallet While we do offer support for web wallets, e.g. password reset, this is an active project and is still under development. Therefore, you are encouraged to follow the instructions on the site; the safekeeping of your, Username, Password and Support PIN is not our responsibility. We still recommend using the full node wallets. Block Explorer There is currently a technical issue with Explorer 1 ☕️ it will be attended to soon. In the meantime, Explorer 2 is available. It is important to note that this explorer is known to display incorrect balances; these block explorers were not made for our chain and require a lot of fine tuning. On that note, I have found an excellent third-party provider for this. Requesting a one-time fee of 1 LTC ~ $70, they can get it up and running in a few days, provided we host a node for them. They have already sent me the configurations to set it up. Important Note I will prepare a vote regarding the funds for the new wallet and explorer. Do Not donate any funds until instructed to do so!

Hack Following the events of the stolen coins, from the initial theft and report, to the watchful eyes of the community and a little bit of luck. The stolen funds, on their way to the markets, have been successfully recovered by the Xeggex exchange. Claims will be processed by our developers, to verify the ownership of the wallet, these will go on record until funds are released by Xeggex, most likely to new wallets. To minimize impersonation attempts, all claims must be completed within 72 hours of this announcement. Any coins not claimed after this expiration, will be burned or donated to the PEPEPOW DAO. Pending confirmation of legality, of course, and a few other conditions, but this decision will be put to a community vote.

Alert !!! Unfortunately, there has been a breach. Several users have reported that their wallets have been emptied. The cause, has been traced to malware found in the new Fulminare wallet. This scam is not new, scans report the use of a keylogger, the wallet file is then uploaded to the hacker. It may already be in their possession, along with recent passwords entered via a keyboard. Windows users in particular, who have interacted with this wallet. To protect you from future losses we recommend, you create brand new wallets for any coins on the compromised PC. Our team have managed to seize the stolen funds, if you've been affected please hang on to your wallet.dat file to verify claim.

Core development Network trouble appears to have subsided, as help requests come in each day; no new problems have been identified since bugfix version 2.2.1.6. Mobile wallets We are still looking into third-party providers, which will provide us with expertise. Some have responded and have also advised that we are in a long queue. Your patience is appreciated, and we will not abandon these early adopters. Exchanges BitXonex has rebooted and is now on the official chain, I trust community members will do their due diligence since the exchange has a particular reputation.
