Optional - other materials, for example, a video with a demonstration of a prototype 👉What should you tell you about the project? - What problem and for whom you are solving. How does this solution differ from the existing ones, what are the advantages? - Show the stage at which your project is. As well as the feasibility of further steps, which technology is based on. - Business model: how do you plan to pay for the development, what do you earn? - Potential and further steps. Perhaps you are planning partnerships with other companies - if so, it is worth mentioning. - Social impact - how significant is the decision for society.

Interview with winners: Elizaveta Gladchenko 🏆The winner of Energy&ESG ACCELERATE Where did the startup idea come from?

Actually, the project is an improved version of my master's thesis at Skoltech. However, the idea itself came some time ago while I was doing an internship at a real oil-producing field. Once, I imagined how fascinating it would be to predict the amount of oil we could get at the place I was currently standing on (or hundreds of kilometers beneath that place, to be precise) right away!

How do you see your project in the future?

Talking about the "perfect" picture I have in my head, I would love to see this project used by reservoir engineers for their every day work tasks. I understand that the problem I am trying to solve is quite specific, but still, it can either complement significantly a more broad production optimization software product or can be used as a ready-to-use stand-alone application.

What will you spend your winnings on?

Even though, having a working prediction model seems to be enough to enter the market, it is not true. A solid IT product will require fixing a lot of issues, especially those connected to automated model training. Thus, I would like to spend money on increasing my own competency in deploying such kinds of applications for easy piloting among potential customers. Besides, getting some additional hardware to decrease calculation time and increase user capacity would be very handy.

It is important to get into the correct spot during well positioning in a field, otherwise, companies might get a dry or a low-producing well. The solution is intended to give a physics-based forecast for a new well at a specific location on the fly, visualize maps with “sweet spots”, and propose ready-to-use solutions on the well layout using machine learning 👏🏻
