‼️BREAKING‼️
Last week, Columbia issued its first expulsion for alleged involvement in the occupation of Hind’s Hall. Today, we are releasing never before seen footage of the Battle of Hind’s Hall as a message to the Student Intifada:
Let us not dialogue with our persecutors. In the words of Ghassan Kanafani, we must reject the "conversation between the sword and the neck."
The footage you are viewing is contraband. It was smuggled out of Hind's Hall and hidden from the NYPD in the band of a militant's bra. Until now, the only footage to come out of the battle and raid was from the perspective of the pigs, but this footage is the worldview of the militant. We are releasing it in response to the latest wave of repression sweeping across amerika. The Student Intifada put the imperialist ruling class on its back foot. Echoes of 1968 and the threat of mother country militancy still loom over their heads—they remember the last time this kind of struggle erupted. They remember the last time youth in the metropole began to identify with the Third World guerrilla. The enemy is scared, and they should be...
The resurgence of the Student Intifada is not a question of if, but when. There are rumblings everywhere. In February, migrant high school students in East LA took the streets for days in protest against ICE and deportations, against fascism and imperialism—another echo of 1968. This, too, is the Student Intifada. And to build an Intifada here is to build a popular cradle of resistance and a unity of fields to destroy amerika; to show how Palestine exposes every existing contradiction...
We have faced the consequences of resisting; the war has come home; the war has been here since the first settlers arrived in 1492. Repression is inescapable, and its ramifications extend beyond a narrow focus on Palestine alone. The struggle is universalizing, consciousness is heightening—this marks a new stage of the Student Intifada...

🟡 NEW: Around 100 Maoist guerrillas from the New People’s Army clashed with Philippine government forces in gun battles. One FA-50 fighter jet from the government’s military went missing, a development that is currently dominating headlines across the Philippines.
The scene unraveled in the rugged mountains of Bukidnon, in the south of the archipelago. The government forces launched a counterinsurgency operation ahead of the 56th anniversary celebrations of the NPA at the end of March.
The NPA is the armed wing of the Communist Party of the Philippines. They’ve been locked in one of the longest-running communist armed struggles in the world, pursuing its strategy of protracted people's war.

🔻 It is time for revolutionary escalation of the global student intifada for Palestine: A call from the Palestinian student movement in the Gaza Strip (2/3)
Today, we call on you, from the midst of massacres and siege, to a new revolutionary phase of comprehensive escalation, and to raise the pace and ceiling of your struggle and your honorable stances, quantitatively and qualitatively, against the institutions, corporations, and governments that participate in the slaughter of our children, our students, and our people in Rafah, Jabalia, Khan Younis, and the entire Gaza Strip, and against the settler gangs, armies of Zionist killers, and so on that commit their crimes in camps, cities and villages in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.
We call on you to besiege the White House in Washington, and to surround the palaces, headquarters and ministries of Western colonial governments and Zionist embassies, and the buildings and offices of the corporations that finance the Zionist entity and arm its criminal army with all kinds of bombs and means of death and destruction. These criminal colonial symbols represent the forces that support “Israel” to kill us – with your tax money and the money spent at complicit corporations, to destroy our homes, our society, and our future. Therefore, we call on you to blockade them until the American Zionist aggression against our people in the Gaza Strip stops.
At the same time, we renew our call to the teaching, academic, and union bodies in universities, as well as cultural, academic, and scientific figures, to advocate for and support student movements until they achieve their goals.

🚨At 4pm yesterday, nearly 100 students from Barnard College and Columbia University initiated a sit-in at the Office of the Deans at Barnard College in response to the first political expulsions at Barnard or Columbia since 1968. This comes in response to Barnard’s expulsion of two students last Friday, February 21, for allegedly disrupting a Columbia class called “History of Modern Israel” exactly one month earlier.
This is the biggest escalation at Barnard/Columbia since Hind's Hall. After 5 hours, protestors won the public meeting with admin that they were demanding, and exited the building on their own terms, despite threats of police presence. They forced admin to the negotiating table through direct action, demonstrating what effective counter-repression looks like. Negotiations start at 1pm today.
Students pushed back on the faculty negotiators' points about ID checks and fearmongering about "outside agitators": “We should not keep playing into the university’s narrative about outside agitators. This is what they say to separate us from the community. If you are here, you are part of the community and you have shown that you have a stake in what this university does.”
Another speaker said, “Our classrooms are not sites devoid of politics, and there is no telling of history that is apolitical. We see through the veneer of respectability adopted by these academics and the students who participate in this violent erasure… [The History of Modern "israel" Class] reinterprets Palestinian existence, as history, in the past present and future, through the ideological lens of zionism. And so this class, and others like it, fall directly under CUAD’s demands for an academic boycott of courses and programs that engage in normalization. We reject all narratives of “academic freedom” that imply a necessity to allow propaganda to proceed uninterrupted. The brave disruption of this class was an act of truth-telling.”
No outside agitators were sold out in the making of this escalation. Take notes! The take a building challenge is still on. RESIST! EVERYWHERE! RESIST!
Protestors are demanding Barnard meet their list of demands by the end of the week:
1. Immediate reversal of the two Barnard students’ expulsions.
2. Amnesty for all students disciplined for pro-Palestine action or thought. Drop all the charges now!
3. A public meeting with Dean Leslie Grinage and President Laura Rosebury.
4. Abolition of the corrupt Barnard disciplinary process and complete transparency on current, past, and future disciplinary proceedings.
Today at 12:45pm there is a picket at the Barnard gates, and at 2:45pm a protest of fascist Governor Kathy Hochul's appearance at CUNY.

Update on NY Jail Guard Strike and Prisoner Unrest (via The Real Movement Report)
"Let's be honest and call it what is…it was a takeover of the jail by the inmates and it was a riot".
The Times Union and other sources within the corrections officer union had reported that the inmates had indeed barricaded themselves in three dorms while also reporting that three officers were injured. The Times Union later changed reporting, clarifying that there was only one officer injured, matching the official statement of the state agency.
Over the course of Wednesday afternoon, the dorms were retaken by the Correctional Emergency Response Teams, with two being retaken by the afternoon and the third taking "most of the day". The facility remained on lock-down for three days, during which there was a facility wide frisk in which 23 weapons were reportedly recovered and two "minor uses of force"...
Amidst the "wildcat" jailer’s strike, there have also been more prisoner uprisings. At Riverview Correctional Facility near Ogdensburg, guards fled their posts and retreated to an administrative section after inmates started "breaking glass and trashing the dorms". Similarly to Collins, emergency response teams were sent in to quell the uprising, which reportedly left two inmates injured. Eager to show solidarity, emergency response teams were assisted by some officers leaving the picket line.
The strikes are also delaying the release of incarcerated individuals. In Woodbourne Correctional Facility, Michael Vasquez is fearful the strikes will delay his release that was scheduled this month after a seven year sentence. In a phone interview with Gothamist, Vasquez stated “Because if they're gonna hold me here, what is not to say if one day they say, ‘No we're not letting you go, you gotta wait until this whole thing is over.’” Vasquez and other prisoners were on lock-down at Woodburne for 72 hours, with prisoners confined to their cells and unable to eat hot meals or buy commissary goods
At Bedford Hills Correctional Facility, a maximum security women’s prison, the lock-down caused by the strikes has meant some inmates have not been able to shower for three days. There have also been delays in distributing medication. One incarcerated women attempted suicide after her pleas for medical attention fell on deaf ears, with another having a blood pressure crisis. A corridor of inmates began to bang on their doors to bring attention to another individual in crisis.
In Cayuga county, a coach bus owned by the Department of Corrections had been set on fire with another bus spray painted with the words “Now You’ll Hear Us”.

Clarity Contra Complicity – K. C. Sinclair (2025)
"One year ago today, Aaron Bushnell, a member of the American Air Force, self-immolated in response to American complicity in Israeli colonialism. This article serves both as an overview of some particular responses to that action at the time and as a critique of one response specifically...
The prominent American anarchist media collective, CrimethInc, reported on Bushnell’s action on February 26th, explaining that they had discussed “all afternoon” how they should speak on it, and that they had received an email from Bushnell himself, in which he told them he would record and livestream footage of the event and asked them to “make sure that the footage is preserved and reported on.”
Rather than first republishing Bushnell’s own statement at the beginning of their article, or acknowledging that he first of all describes himself in his statement as “an active-duty member of the United States Air Force” who would “no longer be complicit in genocide,” CrimethInc first say that upon consulting Bushnell’s Twitch account they were able to determine that he self-identified as an anarchist, due to his username, ‘LillyAnarKitty’ and his user icon of a circle A, which, in the collective’s description, is “the universal signifier for anarchism—the movement against all forms of domination and oppression.”
CrimethInc’s approach draws an obvious contrast to the aforementioned military and civilian media outlets and individual writers who first focused on Bushnell’s role in the military rather than his anarchist identity, if they mentioned the latter at all, especially given that Bushnell himself did not mention his anarchist identity in his statement but did bring to the forefront his military identity...
But one needn’t have read this critique to see that CrimethInc’s article doesn’t attempt an analysis of the significance of Bushnell’s role in the Armed Forces, or of his act of refusal as a member of the military, other than to criticize the “logic” that they themselves project onto his tactic, to associate his action with the prevalence of suicide among military members, and to say that soldiers are taught that their willingness to die in service is their “chief resource”.
CrimethInc chose to emphasize their own sense of the importance of anarchism, their own analysis of the latest Israeli assault on Gaza, and Bushnell’s personal empathy with the suffering of Gazans, over and above Bushnell’s own words and action...
In Palestine and Yemen, resistance fighters honoured Bushnell’s action, but have never done so for CrimethInc’s texts, precisely because staying alive and scribbling, in itself, are not enough to warrant it. The civilian who stays breathing so as to stay blogging is in no way equivalent to the soldier who takes decisive action against their own complicity, whether they die or not. However, there are of course other things that civilians can do against militarism and colonialism.
CrimethInc, for their part, have not even taken on the strength of their own convictions when it comes to the wilful and propagandistic participation of some of their own comrades in the Ukrainian military and its right-wing units, the Ukrainian state’s conscription of civilians into that army, and the critical support for that conscription given by their state soldier comrade Dmitry Petrov to a German media outlet...
Aaron Bushnell lives on in the collective struggle of others, and no pretentious media sophistry can ever change that."

“My name is Aaron Bushnell, and I am an active duty member of the United States Air Force. I will no longer be complicit in genocide. I’m about to engage in an extreme act of protest but, compared to what people have been experiencing in Palestine at the hands of their colonizers, it’s not extreme at all. This is what our ruling class has decided will be normal."

Repost from Unity of Fields
Unity of Fields: What we're seeing right now is the Palestine "solidarity" movement in the US reaching a point where it either has to...
A) expand into a universalist anti-imperialist movement that both mobilizes internally colonized people in the core & adopts militant tactics capable of crippling state capacity for violence...
or B) becomes contained by counterinsurgency (similar to the George Floyd uprisings) as a single-issue, reformist movement that benefits only a narrow class of POC compradors vying for their piece of the imperialist pie, and will only lead to another Oslo.
This is our movement's current impasse, and the choice is ours:
Believe that we can win within our lifetimes, double down on our support for the resistance, defend those facing the brunt of repression, let the repression breed more resistance.
Or lose.
Remember, "It is possible to win and it is possible to win in our lifetime. This is a necessary starting point for any socialist revolution, anywhere, including in North America. Only when we begin with this proposition can we map a path to the seizure of state power. Any other starting point is defeatist."

DOOM TO THE PIPELINE! PDF of new Unity of Fields zine.
Unity of Fields interviewed a comrade facing felony charges for protesting the Mountain Valley Pipeline (MVP), a 300-mile fossil fuel project blocked and delayed by court orders until the Biden administration pushed it through in mid-2023. In relation to alleged actions against the pipeline, over 100 activists have been arrested over the course of 6 and a half years across Virginia and West Virginia, with charges ranging from criminal trespass to felony joyriding and abduction. In addition to the criminal charges, the MVP also filed a civil suit against dozens of activists, accusing them of causing millions of dollars in damages and financial losses. On 25 February 2025, Branch and their codefendant will be facing trial for their misdemeanor charge and pre-trial for their felony charges. There will also be others in court that day facing trial in relation to other alleged MVP actions. The transcript has been lightly edited for clarity.
Web version will be posted soon. Some excerpts from the interview:
"Most of the aboveground left in this country is very adjacent to NGOs, which take energy and feed it back into upholding this racist settler colony we live in. It's very a bad state where we are at now. While yes, a lot of people in the movement will say, "Oh we have leftist politics, we are communists or anarchists," in reality, despite what most label themselves, most of them are just more liberals. At the end of the day, most of their actions and what they say are like, "oh, we are anti-war," and it's like, no, we should be pro-people's war! That's what we have to be. We are not anti-war. We have to be pro-people's war because we as people who live in Amerika in the imperial core, every day we go on is the day that more people die both here and around the world because it revolves around blood. We cannot simply have a march where we shout at empty buildings or take isolated actions and pat ourselves on the back. Even the MVP actions that have occured over the years have caused delays, and delayed the completion by a long time, but people have to do more. We have to organize and get to a point of militancy where we can actually threaten the United States because we have to build towards a revolution...
We need to build all this infrastructure. We need to rebuild so much to get to revolution. We need to rebuild prisoner support. We need to rebuild community defense in poor neighborhoods. We need to rebuild armed community defense...
We have to step up our game and we have to step it up now. Even with all this repression, there has to be more because this is what the state has done and is always going to do. We truly have to coalesce to bring the Al-Aqsa Flood here. You have to bring the Flood here. We have to destroy the United States of Amerika. And it can't be 20 years from now. It's going to have to be in the near future."

Words from the NYC vigil for Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah (2/2):
"The counterinsurgent wing of our movement functions to delegitimize and contain resistance, funneling militant energy back into the NGO sector and electoral politics. They throw out those who push the limits, abandoning solidarity to protect their own skins and class privilege in the belly of the beast. Beware of those who claim easy victories, who condemn certain forms of protest for not being "peaceful" enough, who try to contain Palestine as a single issue struggle whenever we threaten to grow into a full-fledged movement against imperialism. Remain vigilant and refuse compromise. Remember that peace in the U.S. is a lie. As long as this entity exists the people of the world will face annihilation. There is nothing more violent than amerikan peace.
The so-called "United States of America" is on its last legs. Our role as revolutionaries here is to do everything in our power to hasten its collapse and serve the colonized people within its borders. The mass mobilizations of working class youth against ICE deportations, the militant uprisings spreading across prisons, the growing anti imperialist consciousness on college campuses and the use of political violence against individual members of the ruling class—these are all actions that attack US empire at its internal pressure points. As revolutionaries, we must build the popular cradle of resistance that can support and sustain these actions in the long term, as well as strategically direct them as the fourth reich evolves.
To quote Nasrallah again:
"We should thank Trump for revealing yet again the true face of the U.S. administration—a racist, criminal, murderous, bloodthirsty entity that confiscates freedoms, plunders wealth, conspires against oppressed peoples."
We are not intimated by the new administration or the worms at Betar or the New York Pig Department. Why should we be? Today we gathered 1.4 million strong. The resistance grows against all odds.
A message to the scum of nations and the pigs of the earth:
Glory to he who makes the occupier taste bitterness.
Long Live the Axis of Resistance and the International Popular Cradle of Resistance."

Joining millions in Beirut and worldwide, today a vigil in NYC answered the resistance's call to honor the martyred leader of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and faced off a horde of fascist pigs and zionist vigilantes. Pictured displayed at the vigil: Hassan Nasrallah, Hashem Saffiedene, Yahya Sinwar, Ismail Haniyeh, Qassem Soleimani.
Words from the vigil:
"Today we honor the revolutionary lives of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Saffiedene. They join the ranks of the great revolutionary martyrs...Che Guevara and Fidel Castro. Louverture and Kanafani. Harriet Tubman and John Brown. Brendan Hughes and Dolours Price of the Irish Republican Army. Ho Chi Minh. Mao Zedong. Yahya Sinwar and Patrice Lumumba. Ulrike Meinhoff and George Jackson.
All of these heroes have built off of the work of one another, an International constellation spanning decades, centuries and thousands of miles. They exist in a continuum with one another, speaking through history to build the international resistance against imperialism, colonialism and western hegemony. Without them, we would not exist and in many ways, we owe them our lives.
It was Nasrallah who said “We uphold the global resistance against global imperial terrorism.”
We know full well, as did Nasrallah, that it is the United States of America, the country that we are sitting in the center of, that is the main exporter of this imperial terror. This is why it is unsurprising that the US has created such vile monsters as the vigilante pigs of Betar, who threaten us with death and put bounties on the heads of Palestinian women militants. We are unintimidated. They are lowly scum and the only reason they are trying to attack our movement is because we are strong, not because we are weak. They want to attack a mosque in Bay Ridge this Wednesday and we will resist them.
Our movement knows no borders, our numbers here are small but we stand with the global majority who gathered 1.4 million strong today in Beirut to honor Hezbollah’s martyrs. Everyday the popular cradle grows and it is the duty of every revolutionary from the West Bank to Derry to the arch of Washington Square Park to build the popular cradle of resistance. No matter what obstacles stand in our way..."

Repost from Unity of Fields
(1/2) 2006 Nasrallah Interview: "We uphold global resistance against global imperial terrorism."
Q. It is possible to see the posters of Che, Chavez and Ahmadinejad side by side in the streets of Beirut. Are these the signs of a new polarization?
Hasan Nasrallah: We salute the leaders and the peoples of Latin America. They have resisted the American bandits heroically and have been a source of moral strength for us. They are guiding the way for the oppressed peoples. Go and wonder around our streets..! You will witness how our people have embraced Chavez and Ernesto Che Guevara. Nearly in every house, you will come across posters of Che or Chavez.
What we are saying to our socialist friends who want fight together with us for fraternity and freedom is: Do not come at all if you are going to say “Religion is an opiate”. We do not agree with this analysis. Here is the biggest proof of this in our streets with the pictures of Chavez, Che, Sadr and Khamenei together. These leaders are saluting our people in unison. So long as we respect your beliefs, and you respect ours, there is no imperialist power we cannot defeat!
Q. Returning to threats in the region, western governments are intensifying their pressure on Damascus and Tehran, for which they are proposing a “change of regime.” Some sources are of the view that the attack on Lebanon will be directed on Syria. According to your point of view, is a regional war possible?
Hasan Nasrallah: The centers of imperialist power want to make collaborators of our region as a whole. They expect us to kneel before them. Syria, Iran and Hezbollah are opposing this. The provocation concerning the former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri and the efforts to secure the withdrawal of the Syrian army from Lebanon and — going even further — their wish to attack callously on to Tehran and Damascus are all due to this reason.
Syria, with Iran and Hezbollah will certainly resist this. We are going to resist for our motherland and freedom. We are going to resist in order not kneel before them. The imperialists of the west are seeking to make a second Kosovo out of Lebanon and our region. They are seeking to create a clash in between sects. But we have spoiled this trick. In our streets, the whole of Lebanon, with its Christian, Sunnis and Shias, are flying the flags of Hezbollah. Again, “the unipolar world” has already been left behind in history. There is us, there is Iran, there is Syria, there is Venezuela, Cuba and North Korea. There are the resisting peoples of Palestine, Iraq and Afghanistan! As long as there is imperialism and occupations, these people will continue resisting. They can forget about peace. If they want peace, they should now respect the freedom of peoples and should eliminate the collaborators. God willing, the victory will be ours.
They are not going to be able to turn our country and region into a Kosovo. Now our people are aware of everything and will not play into imperialist tricks. We will absolutely not permit them to attack Iran or Syria. We are going to fight for our freedom to the last drop of our blood. Let no one doubt this. They are claiming that Iran has nuclear weapons at its disposal. On the contrary, most of the nuclear weapons are in the hands of Israel and the US. Furthermore, nuclear weapons are nothing but excuses put forward in order to create collaborating regimes in the region.
Q. There are claims that Hezbollah is being directed by Tehran. What are your views on this issue?
Hasan Nasrallah: This is a great lie. We are an independent Lebanese organization. We do not take orders from anyone. But this does not mean that we are not going to form alliances. We are on the side of Iran and Syria. They are our brothers. We are going to oppose any attack directed at Tehran and Damascus to the last drop of our blood just as we do in Lebanon. We uphold global resistance against global imperial terrorism.
