A/ Strange Meeting" by Wilfred Owen. The line is paradoxical: one might wonder how the soldiers can be both enemies and friends. But the enemy soldier's implication is clear: they are only enemies because their countries have decided to fight each other. هذا اللاين متناقض: قد يتساءل المرء كيف يمكن للجنود أن يكونوا أعداء وأصدقاء في نفس الوقت. لكن المغزى الضمني من جنود العدو واضح: إنهم مجرد أعداء لأن بلدانهم قررت قتال بعضها البعض. Once all that is stripped away, they are friends again, as they were at first, before the war. Friendship, not violence and enmity, is the natural relationship between human beings. وبمجرد تجريدهم من كل ذلك، يعودون أصدقاء مرة أخرى، كما كانوا في البداية، قبل الحرب.  الصداقة، وليس العنف والعداوة، هي العلاقة الطبيعية بين البشر.

B/ Unknown Citizen w.h Auden Unknown Citizen is not happy ,he just like a robot when they want him think, he is think , do this, he do.and he is not a free because it's controlled. المواطن المجهول ليس سعيدًا، فهو تمامًا مثل الروبوت عندما يريدونه أن يفكر، فهو يفكر، ويفعل هذا، ويفعل. وهو ليس حرًا لأنه متحكم فيه. Here Auden is stating that it if one is unsatisfied with conforming, one cannot complain and still be considered a conformist, because to complain would be to resist the ideal off conformism and thereby display a nonconformist view point. يشير أودن هنا إلى أنه إذا كان الشخص غير راضٍ عن المطابقة، فلا يمكنه الشكوى وسيظل يعتبر ملتزمًا، لأن الشكوى ستكون مقاومة للمثالية عن المطابقة وبالتالي عرض وجهة نظر غير ملتزمة.

There, he meets a soldier from the opposing army who reveals at the end of the poem that the speaker was the one who killed him. المتحدث بالقصيدة، وهو جندي أيضاً، نزل إلى "الجحيم". وهناك يلتقي بجندي من الجيش المعارض يكشف في نهاية القصيدة أن المتحدث هو من قتله. He say It seemed like I escaped from battle down into a very deep, dark tunnel-a tunnel ( grave ) that had been carved out of the granite bedrock by some enormous wars in the past. يقول بدا الأمر وكأنني هربت من المعركة إلى نفق مظلم عميق جدًا، وهو نفق تم نحته من صخور الجرانيت بسبب بعض الحروب الهائلة في الماضي. *ومن ضمن الشرح حندمج الTitanic wars titanic wars"  created "Hell" itself.   Politicians make war, and the soldiers are victims. war  it erodes the natural solidarity between human beings, turning people who might be friends into mortal enemies; and it robs the soldiers who fight of their capacity to speak truth to power to resist the wars in which they give their lives.. What's more, the trauma of war lingers even after the battle is over.   السياسيون يصنعون الحرب، والجنود هم الضحايا. الحرب  تؤدي إلى تآكل التضامن الطبيعي بين البشر، وتحول الأشخاص الذين قد يكونون أصدقاء إلى أعداء لدودين؛ وتحرم الجنود الذين يقاتلون من قدرتهم على القتال. قول الحقيقة للسلطة لمقاومة الحروب التي ضحوا فيها بحياتهم. والأكثر من ذلك، أن صدمة الحرب لا تزال قائمة حتى بعد انتهاء المعركة.

B/ An August Midnight by Thomas Hardy The poem presents the meeting of a man with five insects. However, the man and the insects are described as equals, generating empathy with these small creatures. تعرض القصيدة لقاء رجل مع خمس حشرات.  ومع ذلك، يتم وصف الإنسان والحشرات على أنهما متساويان، مما يولد التعاطف مع هذه المخلوقات الصغيرة. The lyrical voice mentions three insects ("A longlegs, a moth, and a dumbledore"). 10- Semi omniscient :A third person narrator is out side of the story being told. He is able to look down on the action and report it back to the reader. الراوي بضمير الغائب موجود خارج القصة التي يتم سردها. إنه قادر على النظر إلى الإجراء وإبلاغ القارئ به.

11- The Second Coming: is a poem written by Irish poet W. B. Yeats in 1919, The poem uses Christian imagery regarding the Apocalypse and Second Coming to describe allegorically the atmosphere of post-war Europe.It is considered a major work of modernist poetry. هي قصيدة كتبها الشاعر الأيرلندي ييتس في عام 1919، وتستخدم القصيدة الصور المسيحية فيما يتعلق بنهاية العالم والمجيء الثاني لوصف أجواء أوروبا ما بعد الحرب بشكل مجازي. ويعتبر عملاً رئيسيًا في الشعر الحداثي.

9- Rhyme: is a repetition of similar sounds in two or more words. Rhyming is particularly common in many types of poetry, especially at the ends of lines, and is a requirement in formal verse. هي تكرار الأصوات المتشابهة في كلمتين أو أكثر. القافية شائعة بشكل خاص في العديد من أنواع الشعر، خاصة في نهايات السطور، وهي من متطلبات الشعر الرسمي.
