22 Received some DMs from yall about selling off the FTX claims, hope these helps clarify your questions For context - https://t.me/kirbycrypto/854 1) How long does the process of selling the claim take? The entire process takes anywhere from 24-48 hours depending on your speed in responding and completing tasks like KYC. a) Fill out application form here: https://www.ftxcreditor.com/sell_claim?afmc=0007GL0B b) Receive an email with their quote. If you agree, you will book a call on their calendly, and complete simple KYC before the call. c) During the call you'll share your screen, and forward them some emails, including a reset password email, and signing the agreement of transfer (docusign). USDC will be sent at this stage to the address you provided. 2) Did you have to share your password? There was no need to give password. See above: You would forward the reset password email. 3) What's the % that i can sell my FTX claims for? It depends on the size of your account as of petition date. The bigger the claims, the higher % it can be sold for. Administrative and legal expense are the same across all transactions, small or big, so smaller ones would usually in that sense get a smaller % as comapred to large accounts. 4) What happens if I'm not satisfied with the quote? If you're not satisfied with the quote, there's no further need to do anything, at all. You could just wait and eventually get your refund from FTX Liquidators, which should be starting to pay out the first payments end of year. Personally - taking the $ from claims and planning to deploy in market dips. I'm still of the belief that we've only just begun in this bull cycle, and would rather take the $ to invest in the liquid markets. 29 Just sold off my FTX Claims 🫡 Previously, I managed to withdraw 99% of PF from FTX, left a little staking, and somehow managed to trade that little amount thinking it was testnet money into a couple grand. Been thinking about this for a bit, finally decided to act on it and just get it over and done with. No more dealing with the back and forth and updates on the FTX estate, where they're at, etc etc. It's all so tiresome. 😮‍💨 Current rates for claims are decent, going for around 80-90%++ depending on the size of your claim and various factors. Personally think if you are active in the space and need the liquidity this can be an option for you. I'd personally deploy liquidity into a token or two rather then let it sit with FTX estate paying their overpaid lawyers and vest over months/years. Now, I'm not saying you should sell your claim, but at least you should be aware of options out there. Keep in mind, eventually FTX would likely refund you 100% of your claims in dollar terms at petition day (11 Nov 2022) prices, so you could just wait for them to make the refunds, this could be a long and dragged out process. I'm unsure when exactly FTX plans to start refunding and haven't had time to keep up to date. If you're planning to sell your claims like I did, or just want to check out a quote for your claims, consider https://www.ftxcreditor.com.
