THE TABLECLOTH OF SILENCE AND SINCERITY Shaykh Rajab Ali Khayyat (ra) never cared for delicious meals. Most often, he used such simple foods as potatoes and puddings. At the tablecloth, he would kneel down facing the qibla and kind of bending over the food. Sometimes he would also hold up the plate in his hands while eating. He would always eat with full appetite. Sometimes he would put some of his food in the plate of a friend that he could reach out (as a sign of respect). While eating, he would not talk, and the others would also keep silent out of respect for him. If someone invited him to a feast, he would accept or reject it with some deliberation. DON'T YOU WANT IMAM ZAMAN (ATFS) TO REAPPEAR? THE WEEPING MANUSCRIPT (1937) “When cataloging an ancient Quran in the Mar’ashi Library, I found tear stains on Surah al-Fajr. The caretaker said: ‘Every Ashura, this page dampens where it mentions wa-l-fajr (By the dawn!).’ Lab tests confirmed the liquid was human tears mixed with Karbala’s soil.” —Ayatollah Mar’ashi Najafi (ra) Source: “Gharibat al-Asrar” (p. 122), with photographic evidence in the library archives. THE “INVISIBLE SOLDIERS” IN JAMKARAN “Near Jamkaran Mosque, there’s a valley where the Mahdi’s (عج) army trains at night. If you recite Dua al-Ahd there for 40 nights, you might hear their swords clashing.” —Ayatollah Bahjat (ra) Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq (as) said: “Whoever recites Dua al-Ahd for 40 mornings, he will be among the helpers of our Qa’im (عج). THE DIVINE GUARDIAN AND US. Imam Zaman (ajtf) has a great right upon us. O honorable ones, if you seek excellence and the goodness of the hereafter, then do tawassul to Imam Zaman (ajtf). Not even for a moment is he heedless of us. He knows each of us—he even knows the intentions of a Nasiri. So, do not be neglectful of him! HOW TO SEE IMAM HUSSAIN (as) "One who recites Ziyarat Ashura with presence of heart will see Imam Hussain (as) in their dreams. “The recitation of Ziyarat Ashura is a sword against the enemies of Ahlul Bayt (as), seen and unseen." —Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Qazi Tabatabai (ra) امام حسین (ع) کو کیسے دیکھا جائے! “جو شخص زیارت عاشورا کو دل کی حاضری کے ساتھ پڑھتا ہے، وہ امام حسین (ع) کو اپنے خواب میں دیکھے گا۔” “زیارت عاشورا کی تلاوت اہل بیت (ع) کے دشمنوں — چاہے وہ ظاہر ہوں یا پوشیدہ — کے خلاف ایک تلوار ہے۔” — آیت اللہ سید علی قاضی طباطبائی (رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ @practical_irfan313

A MOMIN IS SO BELOVED TO ALLAH THAT..... A WARNING FROM AN ARIF... "Beware that this age we are living in is even more dangerous than the flood of Nuh (as)." A CLEAR AND UNAMBIGUOUS MATTER. "The only criteria for happiness and misery or reward and punishment are the uprightness of the heart and the purity of the soul. God the Exalted says: 'The day when neither wealth nor children will profit except for him who comes to God with a pure heart' (al Quran 26:88-89)." Allama Muhammad Hussain Tabatabai r.a ایک واضح اور غیر مبہم معاملہ۔ "مختصر یہ کہ خوشی اور غم یا انعام اور سزا کے لیے واحد معیار دل کی درستگی اور روح کی پاکیزگی ہیں۔ اللہ تعالی نے فرمایا: 'جس دن نہ دولت فائدہ دے گی اور نہ اولاد، سوائے اُس کے جو اللہ کے پاس پاک دل کے ساتھ آئےگا' (القرآن)(26:88,89)"۔ علامہ محمد حسین طباطبائی رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اللھم صلی علی محمد وآل محمد و عجل فرجھم @practical_irfan313

“AVOIDING FAME” This is so because fame is an avoidable evil and salvation lies in remaining unknown. There is a tradition from Imam Sadiq (as) in Al-Kafi. Imam (as) says, “If possible lead such a life that people do not recognize you.” That is you do not become a well-known personality. Amirul Momineen (as) says in a sermon of Nahjul Balagha: There would be a time wherein only a sleeping (inactive) believer would be safe (such that) if he is present he is not recognized but if he is absent he is not sought. These are the lamps of guidance and banners of night journeys. They do not spread calumnies nor divulge secrets, nor slander. They are those for whom Allah would open the doors of His mercy and keep off from them the hardships of His chastisement. O People! A time will come to you when Islam would be capsized as a pot is capsized with all its contents.” Nahjul Balagha, Sermon 102, Faiz, Pg. 291 ~Ayatullah Sayyid Muhammad Taqi Musawi Isfahani (ra) ‎اللهم صل علی محمد و آل محمد شہرت سے احتراز! کیونکہ نجات گمنام رہنے میں ہے اس لئے شہرت جیسی برائی سے احتراز کرنا چاہیے. الکافی میں امام صادق علیہ السلام سے مروی ہے. " اگر ممکن ہو سکے تو ایسے زندگی بسر کرو کہ لوگ تم سے ناواقف ہوں. وہ ایسے کہ تم ایک جانی پہجانی شخصیت نہ ہو. امیر المومنین علیہ السلام نہج البلاغہ کے ایک خطبہ میں فرماتے ہیں. "وہ زمانہ ایسا ہوگا کہ جس میں خوابیدہ مومن ہی بچ کر نکل سکے گا کہ جو سامنے آنے پر جانا پہچانا نہ جاۓ اور نگاہوں سے اوجھل ہونے پر اسے ڈھونڈا نہ جاۓ. یہی لوگ تو ہدایت کے جگمگاتے چراغ اور شب پیمائیوں میں روشن نشان ہیں. نہ وہ اِدھر اُدھر کچھ کا کچھ لگاتے پھرتے ہیں، نہ لوگوں کی برائیاں اچھالتے پھرتے ہیں اور نہ ان کے راز فاش کرتے ہیں. اللہ تعالیٰ انھیں لوگوں کے لئے اپنی رحمت کے دروازے کھول دے گا، اور ان سے اپنے عذاب کی سختیاں دور رکھے گا. اے لوگو! وہ زمانہ تمھارے سامنے آنے والا ہے کہ جس میں اسلام کو اس طرح اوندھا کر دیا جاۓ گا. جس طرح برتن کو(ان چیزوں سمیت جو اس میں ہوں) الٹ دیا جاۓ. نہج البلاغہ، خطبہ نمبر 101. صفحہ نمبر 297-298. @practical_irfan313

IF A PERSON REALIZES... Humans have a higher status than angels but only when they tread the path of humanity. That is they subject their carnal desires, anger and other qualities to Shariah and reason. They become perfect and qualities like chastity, contentment, piety, shame, valor, charity, magnanimity and forgiveness are nurtured in them. (Ayatollah Dastagaib Sherazi r.a) اگر انسان کو یہ احساس ہو جائے........ انسانوں کا درجہ فرشتوں سے زیادہ ہے لیکن جب وہ انسانیت کی راہ پر چلتے ہیں، یعنی وہ اپنی نفسانی خواہشات، غصہ اور دیگر صفات کو شریعت اور عقل کے تابع کر دیتے ہیں۔ وہ کمال حاصل کر لیتے ہیں اور ان میں عفت، قناعت، تقویٰ، شرم و حیا، شجاعت، ایثار، بزرگی اور عفو و درگزر جیسی صفات پروان چڑھتی ہیں۔ (آیت اللہ سید دستغیب شیرازی رحمۃ اللہ علیہ) اللھم صلی علی محمد وآل محمد وعجل فرجھم @practical_irfan313

SILENT JOURNEY TOWARDS ALLAH (SWT) The late Ayatollah Fatemi Nia (ra) said: Sometimes, enduring a bad-tempered spouse is itself a form of spiritual journeying. One of the saints of God (awliyaullah) — a truly great man, about whom it is said that Imam Mahdi (atfs) attended his funeral — had a very ill-tempered wife who tormented him for thirty-five years, yet he endured it! Yes, be patient. Truly, many of these matters can be resolved with patience and forgiveness. At times, such endurance, if done with the right intention, becomes a form of journeying toward Allah — like the night prayer (Salat al-Layl). اللّٰہ (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالٰی) کی طرف خاموش سفر مرحوم آیت اللہ فاطمی نیا (رح) نے فرمایا: کبھی کبھار بداخلاق شریکِ حیات کو برداشت کرنا خود ایک طرح کا روحانی سلوک ہوتا ہے۔ اللہ کے ایک ولی، جو بہت عظیم انسان تھے — جن کے بارے میں یہ کہا جاتا ہے کہ امام زمانہ (عجل اللہ تعالی فرجہ الشریف) ان کے جنازے میں شریک ہوئے — ان کی بیوی انتہائی بد مزاج تھی، جو پینتیس سال تک انہیں اذیت دیتی رہی، مگر وہ صبر کرتے رہے! جی ہاں، صبر کریں۔ حقیقت میں ان میں سے بہت سے مسائل صبر اور درگزر سے حل ہو جاتے ہیں۔ کبھی کبھار اگر انسان نیت خالص رکھے تو ایسا صبر نماز شب کی طرح اللہ کی طرف سفر کی حیثیت رکھتا ہے۔ اللهم صل علی محمد وآل محمد وعجل فرجهم @practical_irfan313

SEPARATION FROM ALL TYPES OF BLESSINGS Ayatollah Bahjat (ra) said: This matter must be made vivid for the people of faith, and they must be certain that distancing oneself from those whom the Almighty God has commanded us to be with (the Ahlul Bayt, peace be upon them), leads to our separation from all worldly and otherworldly blessings! تمام قسم کی برکتوں سے محرومی آیت اللہ بہجت (رح) نے فرمایا: " اہلِ ایمان پر یہ بات واضح ہونی چاہیے، اور اس بات کو یقینی بنائیں کہ جن ہستیوں کے ساتھ خداوند متعال نے ہمیں متمسک رہنے کاحکم دیا ہے (اہل بیت علیہم السلام) ، ان سے دوری اختیار کرنا دنیا و آخرت کی تمام خیر و برکت سے محرومی کا باعث ہے. MORE SWEETNESS WITH JUST ONE GREETING "If you feel that your prayer doesn't bring you joy, then before saying 'Allahu Akbar' and starting the prayer, say: 'Assalamo Alaika Ya Aba Abdillah Al Hussain a.s'. That prayer will become something truly special." "اگر آپ محسوس کریں کہ نماز میں آپ کو لطف نہیں آ رہا، تو تکبیر (اللہ اکبر) کہنے اور نماز شروع کرنے سے پہلے یہ کہہ دیں: 'السلام علیک یا ابا عبدالله الحسین'۔ پھر یہ نماز خاص اور لذّت بخش ہو جائے گی۔" اللھم صلی علی محمد وآل محمد و عجل فرجھم @practical_irfan313

AT LEAST DO THIS... Ayatullah Syed Abdullah Fatiminia (ra):"If you are a student or a labourer or a businessman or a doctor or whatever you are, those times when you fell asleep and wake up at the time of night prayer, but you didn't have time to pray, at least say "Ya Akram al-Akrameen" once. Allah (swt) may open a door for his servants while in beds that He does not open in their prayer." کم از کم یہ کام کریں۔۔۔ آیت اللہ سید عبد اللہ فاطمی نیا رضوان اللہ تعالی علیہ فرماتے ھیں: "اگر آپ طالب علم ھیں، مزدور ھیں، تاجر ھیں، ڈاکٹر ھیں یا جو بھی ہیں جب آپ سو جائیں اور آپ کی آنکھ نمازِ تہجد کے وقت کھلے اور آپ کے پاس نماز ادا کرنے کا وقت نہ ھو تو کم از کم ایک مرتبہ 'یا اکرم الاکرمین' پڑھیں۔ بعض اوقات اللہ اپنے بندوں کےلیے نیند کی حالت میں وہ دروازے کھول دیتا ھے جو نماز کی حالت میں بھی نہیں کھولتا۔" اللھم صلی علی محمد و آل محمد و عجل فرجھم @practical_irfan313
