Greetings, #atornauts. While ATOR is in testnet, the relays that our community have brought up that interact with our protocol are relaying real bandwidth on Tor’s mainnet. As such, we are committed to holding the highest standards in ensuring that the relays registered are integrated and aligned with all relay guidelines. Recently, we have found certain aspects of the relay setup for our protocol have become misaligned with the Tor Project. We are in direct contact with the Tor team, and we are taking active steps to make the modifications necessary to align with the highest privacy standards. To start, we are making a change to the recommended configuration for relays to better obscure operators’ personal information, and get them actively relaying bandwidth again. Please visit our Discord to receive support from our dedicated administrators; we have a group of support engineers who will work diligently with you to bring your relays back up. Please note that admins will never DM you directly nor make you sign transactions. ATOR is not and never was related to, affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Tor in any way. We are committed to building a world class protocol for all privacy projects that believe in true decentralization in the global fight for internet anonymity.

As ATOR grows, scammers come out of the woodwork. We have taken the biggest scam Twitter account down, and we will work rapidly to remove the rest.
