On October 15, 2025, the IV International Youth Volunteer Conference "BRICS To You" was held online 🙏 🌍The event brought together over 15 speakers – leaders in youth policy, heads of volunteer associations, and public figures from Russia, Brazil, India, South Africa, Ethiopia, Iran, Egypt, Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Uganda, and the Republic of Belarus – along with more than 250 participants from 65 countries worldwide. They shared successful volunteering practices and outlined new vectors for future collaboration🤝 👩‍💻The official segment featured video addresses from representatives of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) and national youth policy secretariats of the BRICS+ countries, underscoring the event's high level and significance. 🗝Key discussion topics included: 🎯 Environmental and social initiatives and the role of youth in achieving sustainable development goals, 🎯 Developing volunteer ecosystems at the municipal and university levels, 🎯 Intercultural dialogue and people's diplomacy through volunteer projects, 🎯 Supporting and scaling up successful youth practices within the BRICS+ space. [eng] 👩‍🎓 Ahead of the high-level week of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, we are starting to dive into the UN agenda 🤝 On 9 September, Rosmolodezh hosted a meeting with a delegation from the UN Volunteers programme (UNV) UNV is an organisation of the UN system that: 1️⃣ mobilises volunteers to work in UN agencies in the field of development assistance and peacekeeping operations 2️⃣ summarises and disseminates best practices in the field of volunteerism 3️⃣ publishes annual reports on the state of volunteering in the world 4️⃣ supports countries upon request in developing programmes to encourage volunteerism 🔗 The meeting with the UNV delegation was attended by representatives from Rosmolodezh, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, the Dobro.rf Association and the World Youth Festival Directorate ✍️ The following issues were discussed at the meeting: ✈️ sending young Russian specialists to work in UN agencies 📢 the International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development in 2026 🧡 There's no way we couldn't mention the International Prize and the International Forum of Civic Participation #WeAreTogether, the main event in Russia in the field of volunteerism. ✔️Bridges of Youth Dialogue: Moscow and Kazan as Platforms for Sharing Experiences with Gulf Leaders 👉As part of the Global Leaders Exchange program, an international platform for sharing experiences with the next generation of leaders, 36 young leaders from the Gulf countries of Oman🇴🇲 , the UAE🇦🇪 , Qatar 🇶🇦 , Kuwait 🇰🇼 , and Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 visited Moscow and Kazan. ⭐️In Moscow, the participants enjoyed a rich program: 🟣Meetings with representatives of Rosmolodezh, the World Youth Festival Directorate, and the Chamber of Young Lawmakers of the Federation Council, where key projects in the field of youth policy were presented. 🟣The delegates also visited the office of the Dobro.rf Association, met with representatives of the Center for Support of the Volunteer Movement at MGIMO, and visited the National Center "Russia" and the pavilions of the Moscow 2030 Forum. 🟣A cultural program at the National Center "Russia", the Moscow 2030 Pavilion, and VDNH ‼️Another location on the route was the IV Kazan Global Youth Summit, which also brought together young leaders from BRICS+ countries and the Asia-Pacific region.
