What Your Eyes May Reveal About Your Health
Your eyes are more than just a way to see the world—they can sometimes provide important clues about your overall health.
Changes in your eyes may be connected to different factors, including nutrition, hydration, sleep, medications, and certain health conditions. Some signs that may deserve attention include:
👁 Persistent dryness or irritation — which can be influenced by environment, screen use, medications, or other factors.
🟡 Changes in eye color or yellowing of the whites of the eyes — which may require medical evaluation, especially if it appears suddenly.
🌫 Changes in vision — including blurred vision or difficulty focusing, which can have many possible causes.
💤 Tired-looking eyes — often linked to sleep quality, stress, or daily habits.
Your body constantly communicates through different signals. Learning to recognize these signs can help you make more informed decisions about your health.
However, symptoms alone cannot diagnose a condition. Regular checkups and professional medical advice are important when changes are persistent or concerning.

The Food That May Support a Healthy Inflammatory Response
When people think about foods that support a healthy inflammatory balance, they often mention turmeric, ginger, or berries. But there are many other nutrient-rich foods that deserve attention.
One example is clove. Cloves contain plant compounds such as eugenol, which have been studied for their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Even small amounts can provide concentrated beneficial compounds, although food-based compounds should not be considered a replacement for medications like ibuprofen.
Chronic inflammation can be influenced by many factors, including diet, sleep, stress, physical activity, and overall lifestyle.
To support a healthy inflammatory response, consider:
🌱 Eating a variety of colorful plant foods
🥩 Including adequate protein
🥑 Choosing healthy fats
🚶 Staying physically active
😴 Prioritizing quality sleep
Health is not about searching for one single solution. It is about understanding your body and building consistent habits that support your individual needs.
Small changes, repeated over time, can have a meaningful impact on overall well-being.

Here's something that might surprise you: The most damaging carb on the planet isn't sugar, it's maltodextrin!
This ingredient is in 60% of our foods and is classified as a “complex carbohydrate” or starch, even though it acts more like sugar than sugar itself.
Maltodextrin, which is typically made from cornstarch and processed with chemicals, has a glycemic index that starts at 136 and can go up to 180. Compare that to table sugar at 65 or an apple at 36! It spikes your blood sugar super fast.
What's even more alarming is that it’s often in products labelled as "zero sugar," fooling consumers into thinking they're making a healthy choice.

A strong immune system is the most powerful weapon against cancer.
Your killer T cells and natural killer cells can kill cancer directly. To support these cells, increase vitamin D levels and focus on fasting, adequate sleep, and exercise.
Whether your goal is to prevent cancer or treat it, you should also stop eating foods that feed cancer. Eliminate sugar, starches, and junk food from your diet.

The Hidden Carbohydrate That May Affect Your Blood Sugar
Many people focus only on obvious sources of sugar, but some carbohydrate ingredients can have a significant impact on blood glucose levels.
One example is maltodextrin—a highly processed carbohydrate commonly used as a thickener, filler, or texture enhancer in many packaged foods. Because it has a high glycemic index, it can cause a rapid rise in blood sugar for some people.
Maltodextrin may appear in a variety of products, including some foods marketed as low-sugar or sugar-free. This is why reading ingredient labels and understanding what is inside your food can be an important part of making informed choices.
For better blood sugar support, consider focusing on:
🥦 Whole, minimally processed foods
🥩 Adequate protein with meals
🥑 Healthy sources of fats
🌱 Fiber-rich vegetables and foods
🚶 Regular movement throughout the day
Understanding how different ingredients affect your body can help you make choices that better support your health goals.
Small changes in awareness can lead to meaningful improvements over time.

Want to hear something truly shocking? We could literally end chronic disease in as little as 10 weeks for many people.
How? The most rigorous scientific evidence points to a ketogenic or low-carbohydrate diet. We have over 100 clinical trials showing it can reverse type 2 diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular risk factors, and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
And get this: the typical medical approach for type 2 diabetes has a reversal rate of only 0.1%. But with a ketogenic diet, that rate jumps to over 50%!
Why isn't this mainstream news? Because pharmaceutical companies fund much of the media and traditional health organizations. Imagine how much money would be lost if chronic diseases like diabetes were widely reversed in just 10 weeks instead of managed for a lifetime.

Here's a challenging thought: Could daily movement be more important than your diet for overall health?
Our ancestors moved for miles every day, lifting, carrying, and bending. We, on the other hand, are the first generation to sit still for 8 to 10 hours straight. A 45-minute gym session doesn't undo that.
I even have neighbors who eat junk food, smoke, and chew tobacco yet seem fairly healthy. Why? Because they are constantly outside, doing physical work from morning to night.
A 40-year study found that fit people with less-than-ideal metabolic markers actually outlived unfit people who ate healthier. While I advocate for both, this research suggests that consistent movement might have a higher advantage over diet alone.

High cholesterol is not a disease!
There are two types of cholesterol: HDL and LDL. HDL carries cholesterol from the cells back to the liver for recycling, while LDL delivers cholesterol to the cells.
There are also two types of LDL cholesterol: small, dense LDL and large, buoyant LDL.
Small, dense LDL particles can cause inflammation and other problems, but this typically occurs only when your glucose is high or you have insulin resistance.
Instead of fearing foods high in cholesterol, like red meat, eggs, and full-fat dairy, avoid refined sugars and starches that can increase small, dense LDL particles.

Want to hear something wild? The fluoride used in most city water systems isn't pharmaceutical or food grade. It's often a byproduct of phosphate fertilizer production.
Imagine this: Someone had industrial waste they needed to get rid of and thought, "Hey, let's put it in the water supply to stop cavities!" This sounds an awful lot like what happened when sewage sludge was rebranded as "biosolids" for fertilizer, or when seed oils, once used for lamp fuel, started to be marketed as healthy cooking oils.
This is a pattern. Industries find a way to repurpose waste and then convince us it's beneficial or even healthy. It's about cheap solutions for industrial excess, not public health.

What if better eye health starts with something far simpler than surgery?
For years, blurry vision and declining eyesight have been treated as problems you simply have to live with—or correct with glasses, contacts, or invasive procedures.
But researchers from Harvard and University College London are taking a closer look at how everyday factors like nutrition, visual habits, recovery, and lifestyle can influence eye health and visual performance.
And that’s where things get interesting.
A simple, non-invasive routine may give you a new way to support your eyes from home—without expensive procedures, injections, or complicated equipment. [watch video]
Your vision is too valuable to leave to chance.

There's a lot you can do about this, and it starts with seeing it clearly.
The food, the notifications, and the layout of every store you walk into are all engineered to pull at you. That's not a character flaw on your end. That's design.
Once you know that, you can start changing what's around you instead of fighting it head-on.

Did you know that cancer has a lot in common with parasites? At a molecular level, cancer cells use an energy-making system called glycolysis, the same backup system found in bacteria and fungi. A Nobel Prize winner, Otto Warburg, discovered this nearly a hundred years ago.
This is why PET scans for cancer involve injecting sugar. The cancer lights up because it's voraciously consuming sugar for
energy.
If you have cancer, cutting out sugar, refined carbs, grains, and starches is critical because they feed cancer's preferred fuel source. It makes you wonder why dietary advice doesn't always emphasize this direct link more forcefully when dealing with cancer.

The Hidden Habit That May Be Draining Your Energy
When people feel tired, they often blame lack of sleep, stress, or getting older. While these factors can certainly affect energy levels, there are other everyday habits that may also play a role.
One commonly overlooked factor is relying too heavily on quick sources of energy—especially foods and drinks high in refined sugars. These can cause rapid changes in blood glucose levels, which may leave some people experiencing energy fluctuations, cravings, and difficulty maintaining steady focus.
Your body works best when it has consistent support from healthy habits, including:
🥗 Balanced meals with adequate protein, fiber, and nutrient-dense foods
💧 Proper hydration to support normal body functions
😴 Quality sleep to support recovery and hormone balance
🚶 Regular movement to improve metabolic health and energy regulation
🧘 Stress management to support overall well-being
Health is not about finding one perfect solution. It is about understanding your body, identifying the habits that matter most, and making sustainable improvements over time.

Why Some People Stop Eating Before Bed
One simple habit that many people explore for better sleep and overall health is finishing their last meal a few hours before bedtime.
Eating close to bedtime may affect some aspects of sleep, digestion, and blood sugar regulation—especially when the meal is large or high in refined carbohydrates. Creating a gap between your last meal and sleep may help some people feel more comfortable overnight.
During sleep, the body enters important recovery processes that support muscle repair, hormone regulation, immune function, and brain health. Sleep quality also influences appetite, energy levels, and food choices the following day.
If you choose to experiment with an earlier dinner, consider focusing on a nutrient-dense meal that includes:
🥩 Adequate protein — to support muscle maintenance and recovery
🥑 Healthy fats — to help promote satisfaction
🥦 Fiber-rich vegetables — to support digestion and overall nutrition
However, meal timing is individual. Some people may benefit from avoiding late-night eating, while others may have different needs based on their lifestyle, activity level, health conditions, or medications.
Small, consistent habits can contribute to better overall health when they fit your body and your routine.
