This makes no sense. Why would more (or same amount of) people use mail in voting than during COVID hysteria and lockdowns.

- During Covid lockdowns the CDU got about 30% of votes via mail

The AfD voters donβt like mail? Come on.
How can every other party have received more mail-in votes than in-person votes, and by such a large margin?

- To win majority you need 46.8%+
AFD has 44.0%, they need an additional 2.8%+ to win majority
If the BSW falls below 5%, they are out of parliament and AFD would be scratching in majority, since 5% of votes are kicked out.
