- Pt is a smoker (Reinke = smoke)
- Rough, low pitch voice
يتحول لصوت رجالي ف يبين اكثر شي بالfemales
- By laryngoscope: oedema of both sides of vocal cords (fish sign)
Rx:
• Stop smoking
• Voice therapy
• Surgery for late cases.
- High recurrence rate ✔️

- Pt has a hx of GERD
- Minimal change of the voice.
- Unilateral laryngeal pain ✔️
- By laryngoscope: unilateral mass posteriorly
Rx:

- Sudden onset of hoarseness after single episode of voice abuse.
- Sore throat
- By laryngoscope: unilateral hemorrhagic mass which is either sessile or pedunculated.
Rx: Microphonosurgery.

- Pt has a hx of long-term vocal abuse (child or amateur actor or singer).
- Rough and breathy voice, start the day with a good voice then become increasingly dysphonic with continuous vocal usage (gradual).
- By laryngoscope: bilateral mass between ant. third and post. two thirds
