There’s a Dadaji in my locality. He has a Saregama Carvaan and he often sits and listens to songs. He also keeps writing something in a notebook while the song plays.
Yesterday, I went there and he was listening to that song. I said, “Dadaji, that one is the best.”
He nodded gently, and with a smile, he began sharing,“Your Dadiji( his wife) gifted me this Carvaan last year. This song… it was her favourite.”
His voice was steady, but I could feel the weight in his words. Dadiji passed away this January.
There was no expression of pain on his face, only a quiet satisfaction, maybe from the time he got to spend with her.
On his desk, beside the Carvaan, there’s a framed photo of her and an old photo album.
Though he didn’t say much, his silence speaks of a love that still lingers in that room—through the music, the memories, and her favourite songs.

In the eastern domain of the city of joy Kolkata, lies a town that will transport you to the lanes of East Asia. This is the only Chinese settlement in India, at Kolkata’s Tangra area. The Tiretta Bazaar in Central Kolkata, near Lalbazar is known as the Old China Market. Many ethnic Chinese people had started living in this area, popularly known as China Town. The town still houses around 5000 Chinese Indian nationals, who live by following Chinese rituals and traditions.

Want to share something here it is-
Sometimes, it's good to not be good.
Sometimes, it's okay to not be okay.
Sometimes, not knowing is a gift, if you have a spirit to learn.
Sometimes, it’s okay to be alone, if that solitude teaches you how to stand for yourself.
You don't always need to be strong.
Crying isn’t weakness — it’s release.
Silence isn’t emptiness — it’s healing.
Sometimes, you’ll give your all and still lose. And that’s okay.
Because even in loss, you find your truth.
Not every love will last.
Not every friend will stay.
Not every dream will come true.
But life still goes on, and so will you.
Sometimes, choosing peace is better than being right. Sometimes, walking away is braver than holding on.
And yes, it’s okay to just be okay.
You’re not here to be perfect.
You’re here to be real.
Life isn’t a fairytale.
And we aren't made of magic, we’re made of moments, of scars and smiles, of breaking and building again.
I see people struggling silently, not for luxury, but for meaning. They wear masks of happiness, but cry behind closed doors.
We’ve learned to complain.
But only a few dare to understand, to change, to grow.
Be one of them.

Sometimes I go through all my posts and feel it was a good decision.
I just hope that one day, I won’t have to delete everything due to some issue—though that might happen. One day, I hope to be worthy enough to build a real Readers' Library — a home for every reader, where each of you will always be welcome, free of cost.😊
