My interview experiences and tips: 🔸 Google → For roles up to L3 (SWE-II), Google focuses almost entirely on DSA → When I interviewed, I realized I needed stronger DSA skills 💡 𝐓𝐢𝐩: Master the fundamentals—arrays, strings, trees, graphs, and DP. 🔸 Amazon → Expect 1–2 DSA rounds, followed by questions like “Tell me about a time…” in almost every round → Personally, I needed more mock interviews and better communication 💡 𝐓𝐢𝐩: Be specific about your contributions. Leadership and ownership matter a LOT. 🔸 Microsoft → Interviewers asses you on how you approach open-ended problems and communicate tradeoffs → You might also get System Design questions even at mid-levels, so prepare accordingly 💡 𝐓𝐢𝐩: Focus on clarity, structure, and asking good questions to crack Microsoft. These small changes had a drastic effect to help me crack interviews: 🔸 I started breaking down the problem before diving into code — explaining the problem back to the interviewer to ensure I understood it fully. 🔸 I focused on explaining trade-offs between approaches, not just the one I was going with. 🔸 I made my thinking visible by talking through the steps as I coded, so the interviewer could see my logic unfold. "koshish karte hii baand kar deta hu" is not the solution, and there is no shortcut. You have to pick up challenges and go through complexities. But make sure to increase difficulty level 'gradually' - otherwise you may lose confidence and get demotivated.
