Within the framework of the "Innoweek.uz" week, a Demo Day of the "C.A.T. Science Accelerator 6.0" program took place on November 14, 2024, at 14:00 in the ITC hall of Uzexpocentre The Demo Day is the most crucial stage of this acceleration program, where 7 startup teams presented their projects and technological solutions they developed during their acceleration period. The organizers of C.A.T. Science Accelerator 6.0 are the Center for Advanced Technologies and the Agency of Innovative Development. The C.A.T. Science Accelerator 6.0 Demo Day was organized in collaboration with the Erasmus+ ECAMPUZ project, co-funded by the European Union, and the Uzbekistan Food Industry Association. At the end of the event, the jury members selected the most promising startup teams based on criteria such as the innovativeness of the projects, practical significance, and market demand. As a result, the "Light Mayo" team won the first place and was awarded with a special gift from the Uzbekistan Food Industry Association.

The visit to LLC "Uzcarlsberg," which produces beer products, as part of the "Intra-Project Conference" in collaboration with the C.A.T. Science Accelerator program, was organized on October 18, 2024.

"ECAMPUZ - European World Talent Camp for Uzbekistan Scientists in Food Science and Technology - ERASMUS-EDU-2022-CBHE" , co-funded by the European Union🇪🇺, organized the "Intra-project conference" between 16 and 18 October, 2024 The program of the conference included two visits to food companies. The first visit was to LLC “Mill Max Group” which produces flour, on October 17, 2024. The main specialists from the enterprise provided information on the company’s history, production processes, challenges, and flour production technology. Participants had the opportunity to observe the technological processes in action. The ECAMPUZ project team asked couple of questions to the representatives of the company for the needs analysis of Target Group 3 (food companies). The second visit, part of the "Intra-project conference" in collaboration with the C.A.T. Science Accelerator program, was organized at LLC "Uzcarlsberg", which produces beer products, on October 18, 2024.

During the second day of the conference, young scientists and graduates from the project’s “Train-the-Trainer” program presented their scientific research and accomplishments in the field of Food Science and Technology. As a special guest of the conference, the Chairman of the Uzbekistan Food Industry Association, Bahodir Umirshaykhov, provided insights into the current challenges facing the food industry in the Republic of Uzbekistan. At the end of the event, the ECAMPUZ project team awarded special certificates to participants in categories such as 🏆🏆🏆"Best Speech," "Most Innovative Research," and "Best Scientific Poster."

"ECAMPUZ - European World Talent Camp for Uzbekistan Scientists in Food Science and Technology - ERASMUS-EDU-2022-CBHE" , co-funded by the European Union, organized the "Intra-project conference" between 16 and 18 October, 2024 at the Center for Advanced Technologies🧬. The conference brought together researchers, teaching staff, industry representatives, stakeholders from Uzbekistan🇺🇿 as well as the experts in Food Science and Technology from the European Union🇪🇺 and China🇨🇳. Distinguished guests invited to the "Intra-project conference" from various organizations participated by delivering their lectures. Lectures on topics such as Food Science and Technology, Biotechnology in Food Science and other food science related topics were delivered by advanced foreign and local scientists. Participants in the event had the opportunity to view scientific posters prepared by the ECAMPUZ project participants.

A video contest 🥇🥈🥉was organized for the CAMP 2 training participants as part of the "Follow-up meeting with CAMP 2 participants". During the first day of the "Follow-up Meeting," the videos produced by CAMP 2 participants were demonstrated to all attendees. The evaluation of these videos was conducted by the ECAMPUZ project team in collaboration with EU trainers, who assessed them based on established criteria. On the second day of the meeting, the team that produced the best video was announced, and the project team awarded prizes to the winning team. On the second day of "Follow-up meetings with CAMP 2 participants", all the participants had an opportunity to visit JV LLC "International Beverages Tashkent"​ PepsiCo Bottlers🥤 in Uzbekistan.
