شركة Alphabet (جوجل) بتواجه أزمة وجودية حاليا بتهدد بتفككها 👨‍⚖️ في قضية بقالها فترة بين وزارة العدل الأمريكية وشركة ألفابت، الشركة الأم لجوجل بسبب ممارسات الشركة الاحتكارية. تقارير تم نشرها امبارح عن نية وزارة العدل إجبار جوجل على بيع متصفح كروم، متصفح الإنترنت الأكثر استخداما على الإطلاق. كمان ممكن يتم إجبار جوجل على فصل نظام الأندرويد عن متجر جوجل بلاي ومحرك البحث الخاص بيها، بحيث منتجات جوجل موجودة إجباريا على نظام الأندرويد زي ما هو حاليا. وزارة العدل عايزة كمان تفرض على جوجل مشاركة بيانات البحث والتكنولوجيا مع الشركات الأخرى لتحسين المنافسة في السوق. الهدف من الخطوات دي هو تقليل سيطرة جوجل، خصوصا إنها بتستخدم معظم المنتجات المنتجات دي لجمع بيانات عن المستخدمين والاعتماد عليها في خدمات البحث بتاعتها والذكاء الاصطناعي، وده بيخلي المنافسين يلاقوا صعوبة في المنافسة. ده ممكن يفتح فرص لشركات تانية زي Bing & DuckDuckGO لكن جوجل بترد إن الخطوات دي "متطرفة" وبتقول إنها هتضر المستخدمين والمطورين.
