| 2 | 👀Ever watched $BTC sit in a tight range and thought, “Can I trade the non-move?”
That’s where an iron condor comes in.
You sell:
• one OTM put
• one OTM call
You buy:
• a lower-strike put
• a higher-strike call
Same expiry. Four legs. Net credit.
If price expires between the two short strikes, the options can decay and you keep the credit.
The long options cap the loss if price moves hard beyond either side.
Time decay can help.
A volatility spike can hurt.
✅Iron condors are built for a range view, not a breakout bet! | 203 |
| 3 | Bitcoin at 79,191 and the market went greedy again. Fear and Greed is 71 after touching 74, Bitcoin RSI is 76, and XRP did 40% in about 72 hours while retail piled in.
The part almost nobody is pricing: we are in contango. The market is charging less for movement now than for movement later, which is the one setup where buying longer dated options beats selling premium.
Also in this one:
- The vaults closed two months back to back, 3.4% on the altcoin strategy and 2% on Bitcoin
- The Ethereum call Evinho lost 833 dollars on
- The December 2600 call opened
- Why Hyperliquid is the only one Evinho is still bullish on short term

| 4 | 🗞️ Weekly Crypto News | What Options Traders Should Watch
Ever seen a quiet vol market get dragged into a spot move it didn’t fully price? That’s the tape right now.
BTC tests $80K after short squeeze
Bitcoin hit $81,265 intraday, then slipped below $80K, keeping the $80K area in focus for gamma, call positioning, and breakout risk.
ETF demand returns across majors
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs logged a sixth straight inflow day, with ETH, SOL, and XRP products drawing fresh money too.
$6.4B BTC options expiry Friday
Deribit data points to around $6.44B in BTC options expiring Friday, with $80K and $75K strikes worth watching.
Low IV faces a spot-price shock
Short-dated BTC IV recently sat near its lowest level since 2023. A fast spot move can make that feel stale very quickly.
PCE and Nvidia keep macro risk live
Core PCE and Nvidia earnings sit right in front of traders, which means crypto options may take cues from rates, tech beta, and dollar pressure. 📊 | 215 |
| 5 | Ever been bullish on $BTC, but not bullish enough to pay the full price for a call?
That’s where a bull call spread gets interesting.
You buy a call at a lower strike and sell another call at a higher strike, both with the same expiry.
Example:
Buy the 100k call
Sell the 110k call
Net cost: 2,000 USD
At expiry:
• Max loss: 2,000 USD
• Breakeven: 102k
• Max profit: 8,000 USD
• Max profit is reached at 110k or above
Selling the higher-strike call reduces what you pay for the position.
The catch: your profit is capped.
So this trade isn’t built for “price is going to explode.”
It fits a more measured view:
“I think price will rise, but I already have a target in mind.”
Lower entry cost. Defined downside. Capped upside 🚀 | 233 |
| 6 | Crypto pumped this week and almost nobody was positioned for it.
$3.3B in positions were liquidated in a matter of hours, and 91% of them were shorts. The Fear
and Greed Index was sitting under 25, deep in extreme fear, days before the move.
In the new video, Evinho goes through what actually caused it:
- The US Treasury doubling its long-end bond buybacks from Sept 9
- 20 to 30 year yields at a 19 year high
- The short squeeze that followed
- Live charts for BTC, ETH, HYPE and ZEC
- A live ETH $2,400 call sold on Bitopex

| 7 | 🗞️ Weekly Crypto News | What Options Traders Should Watch
📌SEC proposes crypto fundraising rules
The SEC’s new proposal would create exemptions for token offerings, giving traders a fresh regulatory catalyst to price into BTC, ETH, and higher-beta crypto names.
📌CLARITY Act stalls in the Senate
With Congress stuck, SEC and CFTC rulemaking now carries more weight, but the path looks fragile and open to court fights.
📌BTC ETF demand rebounds
After two outflow sessions, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs pulled in nearly $487M across the next two trading days, helping BTC hold near the $64K area.
📌Bitcoin volatility hits a cycle low
BTC 30-day realized volatility fell to about 42%, a quiet setup that can reward patient options traders when the next catalyst finally hits.
📌Macro pressure stays high
Treasury yields, oil, Fed minutes, and Jackson Hole are all back on the board. This is the kind of week where spot can look calm right before vol wakes up. | 175 |
| 8 | Ever sold a call, watched the market rip, and realized the premium was the cheap part?
That’s the trade-off behind a covered call.
A covered call pairs:
• a long $BTC position
• a short call option
You collect the option premium upfront.
If price stays below the strike at expiry, the call expires without value and the premium stays with you.
If price climbs above the strike, losses on the short call start offsetting gains on your Bitcoin position.
Your upside gets capped.
And if price drops hard?
The premium gives you a small cushion. It does not turn the position into real downside protection.
Example:
Bitcoin at 65,000 USD
Sell a 70,000 call for 1,000 USD
Below 70,000 at expiry: you keep the premium.
Far above 70,000: the short call starts eating into the rally.
That 1,000 USD was income.
It was payment for giving away part of the upside! | 231 |
| 9 | 🗞️ Weekly Crypto News | What Options Traders Should Watch
🔸BTC holds near $64K after CPI
July inflation cooled just enough to reduce pressure for a September Fed hike, keeping crypto tied to rates, dollar moves, and risk appetite.
🔸ETF flows keep spot demand in focus
Bitcoin ETF inflows returned earlier this month, then flipped choppy again, which keeps dealers watching whether spot demand can support the range.
🔸BTC implied volatility sits near lows
Deribit’s BTC DVOL was near 35 after being around 90 earlier this year, so cheap convexity is back on the table before the next catalyst.
🔸Options traders watch ETH IV and skew
ETH options data remains a clean read on whether traders are paying up for upside, downside protection, or just waiting for a cleaner move.
🔸CLARITY Act delay keeps regulation in play
The U.S. market structure debate moving into September leaves regulatory headlines as a live volatility risk, not background noise. | 241 |
| 10 | 👀 Ever looked at a quiet options market and thought: “Calls are cheap. So buying them must be a good trade.”
But there’s a catch:
A cheap option still needs enough movement, soon enough.
If price barely moves, theta keeps taking value away.
If volatility stays low, there may be no IV boost to help either.
Before buying a call, ask three things:
• How much movement is already priced in?
• How much time do I have?
• What happens if price moves in my direction, just too slowly?
Options don’t only care where price goes.
They care how fast it gets there! | 295 |

| 12 | New video is up.
July closed at 2.1% on the Bitcoin vault and 3.4% on the altcoin one. Best month since April,
and the market gave up almost nothing this month.
Also in there: why Bitcoin is stuck in the same range it has been in since June, why Solana's
volume is basically gone, and the two calls I sold this week (ETH 2k, SOL 78).
Last week @evinho0x said HYPE was going under 55. It went to 50.

| 13 | 👀Ever predicted the move correctly and still lost money?
That was my first real lesson in volatility crush.
A trader buys a $BTC call before a major event. The price rises after the news, just as expected.
Yet the option drops.
What happened?
Before the event, traders expected a large move. That expectation pushed implied volatility higher and made the option expensive.
Once the news arrived, uncertainty disappeared. Implied volatility fell. Part of the option’s price vanished with it.
Direction was right.
Entry price was wrong.
Before buying an option around an event, ask:
Am I paying for a move that the market already expects?
A correct forecast cannot rescue an overpriced option! | 287 |
| 14 | 🗞️ Weekly Crypto News | What Traders Should Watch
📰Fed risk keeps BTC pinned near $63K
Bitcoin is holding close to $63,000 as traders wait for the July Fed decision. For options desks, this is less about spot direction and more about how fast volatility reprices after the statement.
📰ETF flows turn choppy again
BTC and ETH ETF flows are no longer giving a clean signal. That matters, since flow reversals can turn quiet ranges into ugly gaps.
📰BTC implied vol trades sideways
BTC ATM implied volatility has been sitting near 30% since early July, with ETH short-dated vol near yearly lows. Cheap-looking vol can stay cheap, but it rarely stays ignored forever.
📰Strategy pauses BTC buying
Strategy skipped BTC purchases for a third week. One less steady buyer does not break the market, but it changes the tone around dips.
📰CLARITY Act window narrows
U.S. crypto regulation is still stuck in the Senate calendar. Policy delays keep a layer of event risk sitting over exchanges, issuers, and token liquidity. | 256 |
| 15 | 🚨 Weekly Macro Events to Watch 🚨
Several key events could shape the direction of $BTC & ETH this week:
🏦 Wed | 8:00 PM CEST
FOMC Rate Decision
Expected: Rates unchanged (3.50%–3.75%)
• Hawkish outcome → Crypto negative 📉
• Dovish outcome → Crypto positive 📈
🎤 Wed | 8:30 PM CEST
Fed Chair Warsh Press Conference
Expected: Cautious, data-dependent tone
• Hawkish comments → Crypto negative
• Dovish comments → Crypto positive
📊 Thu | 2:30 PM CEST
U.S. GDP (Q2) & Core PCE Inflation
Expected: GDP +1.8% | Core PCE +0.2% MoM
• Strong GDP / Hot PCE → Crypto negative
• Weak GDP / Soft PCE → Crypto positive
These releases are likely to be the biggest volatility drivers of the week. Stay prepared! 🚀 | 236 |
| 16 | Ever watched $BTC move 5% and realized your position had no brakes?
That is where options earn their place.
A call can give you upside exposure with a fixed premium.
A put can protect against a sharp drop.
A spread can lower the entry cost, though it caps the payout.
The point is not to predict every move.
The point is to know your maximum loss before the market decides for you. | 255 |
| 17 | Weekly crypto news from Bitopex
📰 BTC and ETH sentiment stays defensive
Bitcoin and ether traders are still paying up for downside protection, with one-week BTC put-call skew recently near 16%, showing demand for puts remains strong.
📰 ETF flows remain the swing factor
Citi cut its BTC and ETH targets after ETF demand weakened, with bitcoin ETF flows down about $3.3B year-to-date in its latest note.
📰 Bitcoin options positioning is shifting lower
The most crowded BTC call strike has moved down by $10,000, a sign traders are repricing upside targets after the market lost momentum.
📰 Crypto regulation is back as a market catalyst
The Clarity Act remains a major watch item, with prediction markets recently pricing only a 41% chance of passage this year.
📰 Treasury-style crypto companies are under pressure
Strategy’s authorization for up to $1.25B in bitcoin sales has put pressure on the digital-asset-treasury trade, especially with several firms trading below the value of their crypto holdings. | 271 |
| 18 | Tokenized assets are starting to show up inside crypto market structure.
In today's video, @0xEvinho covers:
- BTC around $64,403 and higher highs from $57.8K
- ETH around $1,866 with resistance near $1,900
- HYPE losing momentum with a possible $55-$56 test
- SOL waiting for broader market momentum
- RWA assets appearing on liquidation heat maps
- An ETH $2K call sold for Jul 24
- Bitopex copy trading returns: BTC strategy +1.7% in July, altcoin strategy +2.5% in July
Main point: crypto's next step may not be memecoins. It may be tokenization and payments becoming invisible backend infrastructure for normal financial markets.

| 19 | 📊 Weekly Crypto Recap
A green week, but not a clean one 👇
• BTC: +1.6%
• ETH: +3.6%
• SOL: -0.9%
• XRP: +1.1%
ETH led the group after holding the $1,800 area. BTC pushed higher but remains capped near $65.1k, XRP stayed firm, and SOL still looks trapped below $78.
Outlook for this week:
Buyers have a slight edge, but resistance sits close.
Expected volatility:
• BTC: ~4.5%
• ETH: ~6%
• SOL: ~7%
The key signal is $BTC holding $63.8k and reclaiming $65.1k.
A possible strategy idea is a weekly Bull Call Spread targeting the $67k area. (no financial advice, dyor!)
Position size still matters ⚠️ | 239 |
| 20 | I once chose the cheapest option on the screen.
It expired three days later...
The direction was right. The trade still lost ⛔️
An expiry date is not a small detail. It decides how long your idea has to work and how quickly time value disappears.
Short-dated options cost less, but the clock moves fast. A small delay can hurt the position, even when $BTC later moves in the expected direction.
Longer-dated options give the trade more time. That extra time carries a higher premium.
Before choosing an expiry, ask:
• When could the move happen?
• How much time can pass before the thesis is wrong?
• How sensitive is the option to time decay?
• Is there enough liquidity to exit?
The cheapest contract is often cheap for a reason.
Choose the expiry that fits the trade idea, not the one that makes the entry price look attractive. | 214 |
