Reading Comprehension (RC) Topic: Origin of the Universe 🚀😱 Passage👇 The Origin of the Universe has remained one of the greatest mysteries in science. For centuries, philosophers and astronomers have wondered whether the Universe had a beginning or if it has existed forever. The most widely accepted scientific explanation today is the Big Bang Theory, which proposes that the Universe began around 13.8 billion years ago from an extremely hot and dense point and has been expanding ever since. Strong evidence supporting this theory includes the discovery of Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation, which scientists believe is the leftover heat from the earliest moments after the Big Bang. However, not all scientists agree completely. The Steady State Theory, once proposed as an alternative, suggests that the Universe has no beginning and no end. According to this theory, new matter is continuously created as the Universe expands, keeping its overall structure unchanged over time. Although this idea has lost scientific support, it still encourages new thinking about how the Universe might evolve. Even today, the question remains: Did time itself begin with the Big Bang, or is there something beyond what we currently understand? With advanced technology, space telescopes, and future discoveries, scientists hope to understand more clearly how the Universe was formed and what existed before it.
