Detectives of the Lagos States Police Command have arrested Margret Itodo βfβ aged 25, Agnes Ogbeh βfβ aged 23, Esther Anyanwu βfβ aged 24 and Anthony Chinakwe βmβ aged 24 for faking the kidnap of Agnes Ogbeh.
On March 19, 2024, Agnes Ogbeh, resident in Akure, had travelled to Lagos and was reportedly kidnapped in Lagos. The family back in Akure received a video showing Agnes and one other tied, gagged, and groaning with blood droplets around them. The βkidnappersβ demanded the sum of Five Million Naira for the release of Agnes.
Upon receipt of the complaint, detectives of the Command commenced a discreet and diligent investigation into the matter. The hideout was located where Agnes, the other lady in the video and two others were found living freely together.
Further investigations revealed that Margaret Itodo is a professional make-up artist who was hired to make the video look real. All four have made confessional statements and are to be arraigned at the conclusion of investigation.

Flash : man, identified as Marcel Udeh from Umunneochi LGA of Abia State has been nabbed by the Police, for allegedly killing his son because he ate the only cooked food in the house
His sonβs offense, according to a community source, was that he returned home and ate the last portion of food in a pot inside the familyβs kitchen.
According to the story, Mr Udeh was enraged that his late son could enter the kitchen to take food without getting permission from his father.
In anger, he was alleged to have dashed into his room, brought out a gun and fired at his son, leading to the victimβs death.
Mr Marcel Udeh was promptly apprehended by members of the community who tied his two hands and placed him on the lifeless body of his child.

Yemen πΎπͺ- This man was adjusting the fan at the airport and, despite his efforts to signal for help, his colleagues did not notice
Lofti Ibrahim al-Shamakh, an airport staff member at Yemen's Aden International Airport, tragically died on July 14, 2019, due to electrocution while attempting to adjust an electric fan.
The incident occurred as al-Shamakh tried to direct the fan towards airport guests, specifically aiming to ventilate the area for some passengers. Unfortunately, upon contact with the fan, he received an electric shock that led to immediate convulsions and his subsequent death. Despite his efforts to signal for help, nearby colleagues did not notice his distress in time to assist him.
The incident was captured on closed-circuit television, revealing the moments leading up to and including the tragic event. Following the release of the video, there was public outcry over the airport's handling of the situation and the apparent lack of awareness from other employees during the incident.
