CPI and Inflation data is out! Both YoY and MoM inflation results were well below both consensus and forecasts. In fact MoM inflation was actually a negative 0.1%, showing that the average price of goods and services this month compared to last is decreasing - a bit of a scary sign for the economy. But, this does also signal a higher chance of rate cuts coming soon, especially with inflation moving closer to the FED's 2% goal. A quick look at CME FED watch shows that the probabilities of a rate cut sit at 15.9% after the days news.

Tariff news overnight caused BTC to surge back up to $83.4k! Trump has issued a 90-day pause on reciprocal tariffs, with the only exception being China. This follows one of the most bearish weeks for SP500 as a result of the building trade war. So, naturally SP500 has massively recovered with one of the largest daily green candles I've seen. Hints of a pause were denied by Trump just days ago, so this is frustrating for anyone participating in the market to say the least! Bitcoin moved to the first bearish target set in the last video at $81,600 overnight. Zooming into the 15 minute charts we can see a small range being developed against this level between $82k and $82.8k. While there has been some bullish divergence moving into the range low, this was not enough to push the price above the prior high at $82.8k. Therefore, the STFs are still looking weak and the likelihood of a bounce is still pretty low. If Bitcoin is able to break above these highs at $82.8k, we might see a little STF recovery to retrace to the $83k range. Otherwise, losing $81.6k, its likely we just keep going towards $76,500, or to the measured move at around $79,000.

Big start to the morning for BTC here! We had the daily close pop just above the RSI resistance at 51.35. On the STF through, we did not get a breakout! So, while the daily candle might have been bullish, this may not trigger an actual bullish continuation from BTC just yet. On the 4hr chart we can see BTC rejecting off structural resistance and falling back below the 200ema. We may likely see a continuation bac down towards $85,100.

Hey everyone, hope you're all having a fantastic week. The last couple days of PA from BTC have been pretty slow, both volume and liquidations have been low over the weekend as well. On the STF, we're still seeing the PA travel within the current ascending wedge structure as discussed in my last video. I've been watching for a breakdown of the corresponding RSI uptrend to signal the shift the downside, and a breakdown of the ascending wedge. Otherwise, we'll likely continue to see BTC chop sideways/upwards.

Considering that Bitcoin is still in a downtrend, and the recent bullish PA on the short term hasn't been enough to distinctively flip these charts, in the case of bearish news, or even a non-event (no new information), Bitcoin has the potential to continue downwards. This is where the big question really lies. How far downwards can Bitcoin really go from FOMC? Knowledge that rate cuts are far on the horizon, and the economic future for rate changes is already quite ambiguous. However, if on the weekly, we drop below 44.41 on the RSI, that's likely a pretty big warning sign that the results of FOMC have been perceived significantly bearishly. As discussed in prior videos, 44.41 on the RSI acts as a baseline for bullish momentum for BTC in phases of accumulation and bull/markets. If news comes out bullish, BTC may finally break above the 200Ema on the daily, and sustaining that, push to retest the 2025 downtrend and coinciding RSI downtrend. A big wait and see moment!👀
