I’ve never in my life seen someone try to argue that the Donbass Massacre is similar to the Oct. 7th Nova Festival (arguing both the ethnic Russians of the Donbass are colonizers like Israeli’s) until today. That is the single most insane statement I’ve ever read, and I’ve read a lot of them by pro-Ukraine types.

If communists want to shape the pro-Palestine struggle, we’re going to have to learn to avoid culture war traps, and to truly advance unity among the working class. Otherwise we’re offering essentially the same tone, slogans, and program that come from non-Marxist leftists.

The logical conclusion of solidarity with Palestine is also extending that solidarity to Iran, Syria, Lebanon, and the other countries whose rise weakens U.S. imperialism. As this struggle develops, an important thing to note will be who’s willing to take this next step.

Finding out about NATO’s atrocity propaganda on Syria was what made me able to come to communism. If we’ve been lied to about “Assad’s gas attacks,” then it makes sense that we’ve been lied to about human rights in socialist China & Korea.

I find it funny how the three posts exposing Ukraine as a fascist state have all these angry radlibs who say “doesn’t justify Russia doing what they did!” Which is a crazy ass take. But the two posts at the end about the genocidal violence that the Donbass suffered don’t have a single one. Speaks volumes.
