🇺🇦 «Розподіл завдань на основі здібностей та бажань — це ключ до успіху» «Колективи Солідарності» спільно з Freefilmers підготувало нове інтерв’ю з бійцем, якого підтримує наша група. Рік тому ми відвідали Херсонську область, де зустрілися з анархістом, бойовим медиком та членом кооперативу «Хліб насущний» Ервіном. З тієї зустрічі сталося багато подій, а на момент публікації цього інтерв'ю Ервін тримає оборону на Херсонськиому напрямку, проводячі дні й ночі в болотах під свистом куль, артилерійськими ударами та атаками дронів. Відеоінтерв’ю зафіксувало мить спокою та напруженого очікування перед невідомим. Це історія про шлях українського анархіста від активізму до роботи медиком у лавах ЗСУ. Вона також висвітлює важливість допомоги волонтерів у воєнний час. Розмова зачіпає тему горизонтальності, досвід кооперації з людьми на деокупованих територіях, а також питання веганства в армії. Чи може бути анархіст в армії, і чи може це призвести до конфліктів?Відповідь на ці запитання залежить від внутрішніх принципів та здатності знаходити спільну мову навіть у найскладніших обставинах. 🇬🇧 “Division of tasks based on skills and willingness is the key to success” Solidarity Collectives in collaboration with Freefilmers have prepared a new interview with a fighter supported by our group. A year ago we visited the Kherson Region, where we met with an anarchist, battle medic, and member of the Daily Bread collective, Erwin. Many events have happened since that meeting, and at the moment of this interview’s publication Erwin is holding a position in the Kherson area, spending days and nights in the swamps with bullets whizzing by, under artillery strikes and drone attacks. The video interview captured a moment of calmness and tense anticipation of the unknown. This is a story of a Ukrainian anarchist’s path from activism to serving as a medic in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It brings up the importance of the help of volunteers in wartime. The conversation also touches on the subjects of horizontality, the experience of cooperation with people in the occupied areas, and the issue of veganism in the army. Can an anarchist be in the army, and can this lead to conflicts? The answer to this question depends on one’s internal principles and ability to find common ground even in the most difficult circumstances.

🇬🇧 A memorial evening for the fallen anti-authoritarians On April 19, 2024, activists of the anti-authoritarian movement gathered in Kyiv and Odesa to honor the memory of three fallen comrades, Dmitry "Leshiy" Petrov, Finbar "Chia" Cafferkey, and Cooper Andrews. A year ago, they went into battle near Bakhmut and never returned. Since then, their names have become symbols of the struggle against imperialism. In Kyiv, the memorial evening was held near the so-called Leshiy's oak tree, a tree planted last year by his friends and family. Throughout the year, activists from various initiatives took care of it, and the oak tree turned into a place of remembrance. On April 19, almost three dozen military men and women, volunteers, and activists came to the oak tree. Together, we remembered the fallen, read Leshiy's farewell message published on the BOAC page after his death, got in touch with his father, and planted three new trees that will now also become part of the memorial. At the same time, our comrades also held a memorial evening near the mural dedicated to the fallen soldiers. The author of the mural is a fighter of Ecological Platform who is currently recovering from an injury. Another mural was created in Kyiv on the eve of April 19. Later, Odesa activists planted trees on the slopes above the sea, dedicating them to Dmytro, Finbar and Cooper. The evening was accompanied by the explosion of a ballistic missile that Russia fired at Odesa. This did not interfere with the action, but served as a reminder of what our comrades fought against until the end of their lives. In their memory and for the sake of the better society they dreamed of, our work will continue! Remembering means fighting!

🇺🇦 Вечір пам’яті полеглих антиавторитаріїв 19 квітня 2024 року в Києві й Одесі активісти та активістки антиавторитарного руху зібралися, щоб ушанувати пам’ять трьох полеглих товаришів — Дмитра «Лєшего» Петрова, Фінбара «Чіа» Кафферкі та Купера Ендрюса. Рік тому вони пішли у бій під Бахмутом, із якого так і не повернулися. Відтоді їхні імена перетворилися на символи боротьби проти імперіалізму. У Києві вечір пам’яті пройшов біля «дуба Лєшего» — дерева, яке минулого року висадили його друзі й близькі. Увесь рік активіст_ки з різних ініціатив дбали про нього, а дуб перетворився на місце пам’яті. 19 квітня майже три десятки військових, волонтерів і волонтерок, активістів і активісток прийшли до дуба. Разом ми пом’янули загиблих, зачитали прощальне послання «Лєшего», опубліковане на сторінці БОАК після його загибелі, вийшли на зв’язок з його батьком та висадили три нових дерева, які тепер також стануть частиною меморіалу. У той же час в Одесі наші товариші й товаришки також провели вечір пам’яті біля присвяченого загиблим муралу. Автор муралу — боєць “Екологічної платформи”, який сам наразі проходить відновлення після отриманого поранення. Ще один мурал напередодні 19 квітня було створено у Києві. Згодом одеські активіст_ки самовільно висадили дерева на схилах над морем, присвятивши їх Дмитру, Фінбару й Куперу. Вечір пройшов під звуки вибуху балістичної ракети, якою Росія завдала удару по Одесі. Акції це не завадило, але послужило нагадуванням, проти чого до кінця свого життя боролися наші товариші. У пам’ять про них та заради кращого суспільства, про яке вони мріяли, наша робота триватиме! Пам’ятати — значить боротися!

​​On April 19, 2023, three of our comrades-in-arms, internationalists and revolutionaries were killed in the battles for the "road of life" on the outskirts of Bakhmut. Their names are: Dmytro "Leshiy" Petrov, Finbar "Çŷia" Cafferkey and Cooper "Harris" Andrews. The deaths of our comrades were a huge blow to all of us and a turning point in the understanding of the participation of libertarians in the war. One of the heroes, Dima Petrov, was not only our comrade-in-arms and the man who stood at the origins of our project, but also a living embodiment of the fiery revolutionaries of the past. Honest, sincere, and kind, but also determined and courageous in his struggle for anarchist ideals. This is how we will remember Dima. We can write about him endlessly, but his close comrades from BOAK and the legacy he left behind will tell us the best about Dima. In his farewell letter, Dima wrote: "The best memory for me is if you continue to work actively, overcoming personal ambitions and unnecessary harmful squabbles. If you continue to fight hard to achieve a free society based on equality and solidarity. For yourself and for me, and for all our comrades." With these words in mind, anarchists in Berlin, Leipzig, Dresden, Amsterdam, Kyiv, and other cities will gather today to honor the memory of these three outstanding comrades. Dmitry "Leshiy" Petrov, Finbar "Çîya" Cafferkey and Cooper "Harris" Andrews are forever in the ranks!

​​19 квітня 2023 року в боях за "дорогу життя" на околицях Бахмута загинуло троє наших бойових товаришів, інтернаціоналістів і революціонерів. Їхні імена: Дмитро "Леший" Петров, Фінбар "Чіа" Каферкей та Купер "Гарріс" Ендрюс. Загибель товаришів стала величезним ударом для всіх нас і переломним моментом в осмисленні участі лібертаріїв у війні. Один з героїв, Діма Петров, не тільки був нашим бойовим товаришем і людиною, що стояла біля витоків нашого проєкту, а й живим втіленням полум'яних революціонерів минулого. Чесний, щирий і добрий, але при цьому рішучий і сміливий у своїй боротьбі за анархічні ідеали. Таким ми запам'ятаємо Діму. Про нього можна писати нескінченно, але краще про Діму розкажуть його близькі товариші з БОАК і та спадщина, яку він залишив після себе. У своєму прощальному листі Діма писав: "Найкраща пам'ять для мене - це якщо ви продовжите активну роботу, долаючи особисті амбіції та необов'язкові шкідливі чвари. Якщо ви продовжите активну боротьбу, щоб домогтися вільного суспільства, заснованого на рівності та солідарності. За себе і за мене, і за всіх наших товаришів". Пам'ятаючи ці слова, анархісти Берліна, Лейпцига, Дрездена, Амстердама, Києва та інших міст сьогодні зберуться, щоб вшанувати пам'ять цих трьох видатних товаришів. 🇬🇧 “The only thing we want is to return home” We’re back from our humanitarian trip to the Sumy and Kharkiv Regions, which have been suffering from Russian bombings for the past month. Many residents here still remember the battles of the first days of the war, when Russian troops were marching from the East towards Kyiv. After their defeat and retreat, the situation seemed to have normalized, and there were no major bombings for almost 2 years. Today, however, the frontline villages and towns of Sumshchyna are being razed with aerial bombs, and the cities in the rear are receiving an influx of evacuated residents. These are the people to whom we’ve brought humanitarian aid. During this trip, we visited three cities: Sumy, Trostyanets, and Bohodukhiv. Many families have evacuated with children and are now living in dormitories. They often need the most basic items to arrange their daily lives. So we’ve delivered to them 91 electric kettles, 28 electric and 5 gas stoves, 8 microwaves, a multicooker, 27 bed sheet sets, 40 towels, 35 hygiene kits, as well as laundry detergents, dishwashing detergents, dishes and food packages. Local volunteers also helped us with this, and we are very grateful to them for their cooperation. The situation in the region is constantly changing. Some are more lucky, their house is still standing, so these people are trying to return home as soon as possible. Others have nowhere to return to. Meanwhile, the bombings continue, so new families keep arriving at the points of accommodation for displaced people. Thus, our work continues. 🇺🇦 “Єдине, чого ми хочемо, це повернутися додому” Ми повернулися з гуманітарної поїздки у Сумську і Харківську області, які протягом останнього місяця потерпають від російських ударів. Багато мешканців тут ще пам’ятають бої перших днів війни, коли російські війська рвалися зі Сходу на Київ. Після їх поразки та відступу ситуація, здавалося б, нормалізувалася і майже 2 роки великих обстрілів не було. Сьогодні ж прифронтові села й міста Донеччини стираються авіабомбами, а у міста в тилу хлинув потік евакуйованих мешканців. Саме цим людям ми привезли гуманітарну допомогу. У цій поїздці ми відвідали три міста - Суми, Тростянець і Богодухів. Багато родин евакуювалися з дітьми й сьогодні живуть по гуртожитках. Часто вони потребують найбільш базових речей для облаштування побуту. Тож ми передали їм 91 електричний чайник, 28 електричних і 5 газових плит, 8 мікрохвильових печей, мультиварку, 27 постільних наборів, 40 рушників, 35 гігієнічних наборів (зубні щітка, паста, мило), а також пральні попрошки, засоби для митя посуду, посуд (сковорідки, каструлі, тарілки чашки) і продуктові набори. В цьому нам допомогли і місцеві волонтери, яким ми дуже вдячні за співпрацю. Ситуація в області постійно змінюється. Комусь пощастило більше, їхній будинок вцілів, тож люди намагаються повернутися додому якомога швидше. Іншим повертатися вже немає куди. Тим часом обстріли тривають, тож до пунктів розміщення переселенців прибувають нові родини. А отже наша робота триває. І ми будемо вдячні, якщо ви підтримаєте її. 🇬🇧 Memorial evening for Leshy, Cooper and Çîya We are approaching a sorrowful date, 19 April. The day when three of our comrades, internationalist warriors, died in battle near Bakhmut: Dmitry “Leshy” Petrow, who was Russian; Finbar “Çîya” Cafferkey, who was Irish; and Cooper “Harris” Andrews from the US. Each of them was a prominent activist and a true fighter for the ideas of equality and social justice. Çîya fought to preserve the nature of his homeland and fought against ISIS islamists in Rojava. Cooper actively participated in the anti-racism movement. And Leshy, among other things, co-founded a partisan movement in Russia, the BOAK organization, at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Each of them was our friend and comrade. So we offer those who knew Dima, Finbar and Cooper or who shares their convictions to meet up in the evening of 19 April in Kyiv and honor their memory.
