Day of the Unborn Child Rally and Procession. St Mary’s Cathedral to NSW Parliament House, Sydney, 14 April 2024. The Mass at St Mary's Cathedral was followed by a street procession to NSW Parliament House with prayers and guest speaker Archbishop Julian Porteous from Hobart. The procession was be led by Archbishop Anthony Fisher, Archbishop Julian Porteous and Bishop Richard Umbers. Palestinian Protestors attempt to block Port Botany in Sydney to protest the Israeli owned Zim Shipping Line. Report and footage from our brave man on the ground. 👇👇👇 "ZIM action at Botany. The protesters sat down and didn't budge which led to some arrests including the arrest of Paul Keating from the Maritime Union. Mehreen Faruqi was also in attendance. Various unions and Pro Palestinian groups were all there to support the action. It started as speeches in the park but once that ended the crowd starting moving onto the street and towards the nearest terminal. Then they sat down. After some arrests, the protesters got up and the line kept getting pushed back until the protesters were back at the park. Channel 9 was there the whole time. “Protest the Egyptian regimes complicity in genocide”. Outside the Egyptian Consulate building in Sydney. 14 March 2024. A protest organised by the Palestine Action Group and the Palestine Justice Movement, Sydney. There was probably about 30 protesters at its peak, and maybe 20 police. The protest was maintained on the sidewalk. A number of speeches were made, one in particular I was very impressed with (Part 1), I thought this lady spoke very well. It was was rather poetic and rhymie, unusual for a protest. There was no march afterwards. Part 4 of 4 https://t.me/Sydney_Protest
