Will McEvoy, CIO of publicly traded Cypherpunk Technologies, lays out his long-term thesis for Zcash:
“Zcash takes the best features of Bitcoin — the 21 million hard cap, Proof-of-Work mining and a similar emission schedule — and adds privacy.”
McEvoy believes Zcash could ultimately be valued as high as 15% of Bitcoin.
That view carries weight: Cypherpunk is one of the largest institutional ZEC holders, with 323,394 ZEC reported as of August 11, representing roughly 1.92% of circulating supply at the time.

The Chinese city of Jinan has implemented the possibility of digital yuan fare payment on all bus routes and launched a program to encourage using the central bank digital currency (CBDC).
The city is encouraging citizens to choose to pay with the CBDC. They’ll have access to discounted rides for one affyn, one-hundredth of a yuan (like a penny or cent to the dollar). The limit is two tickets per day and no more than six per month, with the trip’s total price not exceeding two yuan ($0.28).
Even though the digital yuan has no characteristics supporting Web3-philosophy and decentralization, it is nevertheless a sign that virtual assets are finding more and more uses.

Earlier in this post, I already dealt with the topic of stabelcoins. Butw there is another important thing we want to tell you about, and that is the types of Stablecoins.
🇻🇦 Just in case, let us remind you that Stablecoins are cryptocurrencies with a stable price, which is not subject to volatility and remains unchanged.
There are three types of stablecoins in particular:
➡️ Secured by fiat currencies (fiat-collateralized)
In this approach, each steblycoin coin is tied to one unit of fiat currency - USDC, Tether (USDT), TrueUSD (TUSD), Binance USD (BUSD);
↪️ Secured by cryptocurrencies (crypto-collateralized)
Stablecoin creator creates a reserve in collateralized cryptocurrency, the estimated value of which exceeds the value of the stablecoin. Even if the market experiences a significant drop in the price of the cryptocurrency with which the stabelcoin is collateralized, the latter will retain its value due to overcollateralization - DAI;
➡️ Non-collateralized
They are based on such an economic process as senorage. In simple words: if the value of one stabelcoin exceeds $1, the supply increases (i.e. new coins are issued), and when the value is less than $1, the supply decreases (i.e. coins are "burned") - Basecoin, Carbon, Havven.

Today’s post is serving up a little bit of trading theory, so let’s discuss two important concepts.
“Support” and “resistance” levels are key terms in the cryptocurrency market.
A support level is a price point where a coin’s rate falls but cannot break down. That is, investors consider this point attractive to buy the asset and, thus, stop its fall by actively buying.
A resistance level is a price point that a coin’s rate is hitting but cannot overcome upward. Because investors begin to sell actively, and the price goes down.
Analyzing these levels helps to predict further price movements and form a successful trading strategy.
