| 2 | What a good 2023 season it has been! And we couldn’t have done it without you!
Because of you we were able to deliver 2,264,600 pounds of food and aid to frontline villages, churches and shelters in Ukraine.
In Haiti we were able to impact 3800+ households directly and distributed 74,498 meals + 3950 gallons of drinking water. In the prisons we distributed 58,130 meals to inmates, which translates into one meal per week for 1050 inmates.
In Morocco we’ve been able to build just over 500 insulated shelters! These will provide a warm, safe place this winter, for around 3,000 people who have been affected by the earthquake.
+ multiple US Disaster Responses in Mississippi, Arkansas, Vermont, Florida and Tennessee!
THANK YOU for your part in this! We are truly grateful! | 3 538 |
| 3 | Great news! We have another training coming up this spring and registration is now open! There are only six spots left, so be sure to sign up quickly before they're gone. The training dates are April 28 to May 9, 2024.

[Update from our chaplain Leonid]
Our team of volunteers continues to serve people in places affected by Russian aggression. This time we visited the city of Avdiivka, Donetsk region. We distributed 100 food parcels, bread, hygiene products, medicines and warm clothes. The people living in those places are very grateful that they are not forgotten and helped. In such a difficult time, it is hard to overcome anxiety, despair, and worry, so people gratefully accept and thank us for the word of hope that we pass on through the Bible.
I sincerely thank the Lord for the opportunity to serve our people.

As our last team leaves Morocco, we handed the project over to the locals, who will continue building shelters on a smaller scale for about a month.
During the entire project, we were working very closely with local businesses and individuals. The warehouse and purchasing was all handled by locals. Our primary objective was to take our teams to the villages and assist with coordination of the materials and build the shelters on site.
There are about a dozen young men who were working with us and they will take on the task of building, and will have others join when possible. We have built many friendships and had great people to work with. It was a wonderful opportunity to spend time with these people and has led to many relationships that will go on forever.
The holiday season greatly affects the number of people who will continue to help over the next few weeks, and in January the project will close altogether. Thank you to everyone who has helped to make this possible!

It's amazing to see all of the good that can come from a major disaster like this earthquake. Many people have been strengthened in their walk with God from the communities that have been established as a direct result of working together after the earthquake.
Places that had been closed, and people who weren’t open to hearing the gospel or receiving help are now open to both, and amazing relationships are being built out of this. Even we, as foreigners, have built good relationships with the locals and others on the build teams and are able to share the gospel with them. There are many lost and searching souls.
It is an amazing thing to be able to bring a bit of joy into someone's life after a disaster like this.
Even though winter is coming in the mountains, most people are still living in basic non-insulated tents. It is awesome to be building these shelters on site, and get to have the connection with the families of the shelter, and then be served tea and bread by them. They are so thankful for it and show it by taking very good care of us when we are in their village, often giving us more than we need even though they don't have an abundance themselves.

| 11 | US DISASTER RELIEF
[Tennessee Tornado]
On Tuesday, we had 23+ volunteers come to us for work. Half of them were from the army and had been given leave by their commanders so they could help with the cleanup. A contact from a local church connected us with a family that needed help. We were able to help clear trees out of their yard and tarp their neighbor’s roof.
In the afternoon, we were told that the Clarksville Emergency Response had sectioned the disaster zone into different sectors to more effectively manage volunteers in the area. Clarksville is a military town and the commanding general is in support of helping the community. With this being the case, it is unlikely that a shortage of volunteers will occur. We were very impressed with the speed at which things were getting cleaned up and also how well everything was organized. It’s is incredible to see people come from far and wide to help out those in need.
With the needs on the ground well-covered, our team is returning home and will prep for the next response.

| 13 | US DISASTER RESPONSE
[Tennessee Tornado]
Two tornadoes touched down in Tennessee on Saturday, one of which hit parts of Hendersonville and stayed on the ground for a 43 mile stretch, with peak winds of 125mph. The Clarksville area had peak winds of 150mph and a tornado that left an eleven mile track of destruction. Lots of people without power and damaged structures.
Yesterday, we deployed two guys with the truck and mid-sized trailer to do assessments They joined two more of our team on the ground in Clarksville and are currently assessing the situation.
Pray for people in Clarksville and Hendersonville.🙏🏼

As I leave Morocco, I'm leaving a piece of my heart behind. But instead, it's been replaced with a lifetime of memories. Spending countless hours in the mountains building shelters alongside some of the most amazing people, playing with the kids, and making new friends over a cup of tea, are only a few of those beautiful memories. This time in Morocco was nothing short of a miracle and I'm forever grateful to God.

| 16 | Today, we’re kicking off our Year-End Fundraiser!
Last year, we raised a total of $1.4 million. In order to make a greater impact and fulfill the needs that come our way, this December, we still need to raise $1,000,000 for the Where Needed Most fund. When the needs between the fields are time-sensitive, this fund gives us the capacity to fill them in a quick and efficient manner.
Would you consider helping us reach this goal? Your contribution, regardless of the amount will make a tremendous impact on those who need it most. If you are more comfortable giving to a specific fund please feel free to do so. Either way, we are so grateful for your support!

Helping with the shelter project in Morocco has been an extraordinary learning experience, with volunteers from multiple cultures and languages working together to support the population in the mountain villages. Some of the people have been living there for generations and would not consider moving elsewhere. They are hard workers and have sustained their families for decades, living in the same village. There are vehicles that travel the roads regularly to bring supplies and provide transportation, and these vehicles often have passengers riding on the rooftop to ride to town or another nearby village for various business purposes.
The 6.8 magnitude earthquake in September has brought devastation to a lot of these villages. Some people have lost family members or neighbors, while others have seen their houses collapse into a pile of rocks. Many villagers live in tents while others live in houses that are considered stable. Aftershocks (or smaller earthquakes) are still a concern in these areas and can create more landslides. The families are very grateful for the shelters, as they provide better protection against the snow and cold weather that is typical in the mountains.
